Welcome to the poll of the week!! Polling runs through Sunday, April 13th. I love Christine Feehan’s Dark series but by far my all time favorite is Laurell K Hamilton’s Anita Blake series.
I only voted for Night Huntress. I haven’t read most of these (and a couple I have but couldn’t vote for.) I have the first Kat Redding book and I hope it’s good but I haven’t read it yet.
Jane Yellowrock, Night Huntress, & Anita Blake (the early ones).
Tough tough decisions… eventually I went with Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunters (I know my husband would want me to vote for this one too)

The VV Inn series by C.J. Ellisson is amazing!
I have been a long time fan of J. Frost and L. Adrian. They are both amazing series and I am also a huge fan of Diane Duvaul!

I voted for Morganville Vampires and Vampire Academy, although I loved Bloodlines by Richelle Mead much more.
I also like The Guild Hunter Series, by Nalini Singh that contains vampires. But my favorite series so far is The Night Huntress Series, By Jeaniene Frost.

I didnt read correctly and only voted for 1 which was Midnight Breeds series by Lara Adrian, 2 others I would’ve voted for were Night Huntress and Dark Hunters series by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Lisa Kessler’s Night series. Its addictive. I took a hiatus from vampire books because they were getting annoying. I started reading the Night series and got addicted once more.

there are so many great vampire series out there. I went with Morganville vampire series - I love it!
some of my other favourite authors of vampire series (who I didn’t see in the poll, although they may have been under ‘others’) are chloe neill, p.c cast and lynsay sands
These polls have shown how astonishingly few vampire series I’ve read. From the list, I voted for Jeaniene Frost.
Vampire Academy! There are a lot of authors on this week’s list that I haven’t read yet.
…and I just don’t like the Anita Blake books once you get past number… 7 or so. I don’t remember where I draw the line.
My top 5 addictions are The Dark Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, The Black Dagger Brotherhood, The Love At Stake Series by Kerrilyn Sparks, The Dark Carpathians by Christine Feehan, and Lyndsay Sands’ Argeneau/Rogue Hunter books all because they have stories where you really feel as if you are apart of them. They all have characters that you see enter, evolve, and become engrained into you that you sometimes find yourself rooting for even the villains. These 5 authors literally have characters that no matter how minor, people want their stories. They’re my top 5 addictions when it comes to reading.
Carpathian series by Christine Feehan and I second the vamps in the Mercy Thompson series. Unless the main character(s) have to be vamps, then I would go with the Argeneau series.
Unfortunately the Anita Blake series started to not be to my taste after Obsidian Butterfly (her early ones I really liked).
I voted for Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter series but my favorite is fdrom last week’s list: L.A. Banks’ Vampire Huntress series… Carlos Rivera, mmmm mmmm

Rebecca Zanetti’s Dark Protector Series really needs to be on this list…especially SHADOWED featuring Jase Karys.
Anita Blake, Betsy and Morganville… but it was hard I wanted to also vote for Love at Stake and Broken Heart… I narrowed it down to even get to that point and then eeny meenied…. CI am tons disappointed now that I see the lack of voting on Broken Heart which is fab!

I chose IAD from Kresley Cole. I have yet to read a book of hers that I have not LOVED!

Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost,Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead, and Anita Blake series by Laurel K. Hamilton were my choices but honestly there aren’t many vampire series that I’ve read that I haven’t read. Vamps are my favorite paranormal character and I love discovering new series.
I chose the Betsy series, gotta love the humor; LKH’s Anita Blake series (the older stories though); and Faith’s Jane Yellowrock series.
