I picked robots, shapeshifters, and angels!
I chose magic users/ sorcerers, kick ass supernatural sidekicks and shapeshifters as my top three picks.
I voted for fae, magic-users and shapeshifters. I could have voted for many more. But if we were only allowed to vote for one it would be fae all day. I feel like authors can get really creative with types of fae, and I think maybe I also really dig them because fae usually don’t apologize for their faeness. They really tend to own it.
Kick ass supernatural sidekicks, Aliens, Shapeshifters….
Super sleuths and fiesty human sidekicks~fiesty and super are great traits!
Dogs and Magic Users/Sorcerers come to mind.

I put magic users, dogs (I could include all talking animals really, not shapeshifters but the loyal animal companion) and others as in gods/goddesses, all things mythology. I also love me a good hybrid, gives interesting and unpredictable results!
I love cats in books and also I like to read about vampires and aliens.
I like valkyrie, feisty human sidekicks, and shapeshifters of all kinds.
I love all kinds of sidekicks a couple of my favorites are dogs and ghosts…
I picked vampires, mermaids, and fae. But I also like pixies, shape-shifters, anti-heroes, and animals. Supernatural sidekicks can be good too, as well as heroes and do gooders. Really, there aren’t too many of them that I don’t like.
So many interesting choices! I voted for Kick Ass Supernatural Sidekicks, Magic Users/Sorcerers, and Vampires.

You can mix all of these wonderful creatures together if the story and writing is wonderful. Keri Arthur is one of the writers who I think does this extremely well.

Cats. Heroines - fits nicely with cats - mind of their own, very possessive, need to be treated right or there is hell to pay, strong. Feisty Human Sidekicks - aliens or BEMs or paranormal sidekicks do not usually work too well - of course, there is always the Chicagoland Vampires series to prove me wrong - many sidekicks both human and paranormal.
