I voted for Yasmine Galenorn’s because I LOVE those Series! One of my FAVES!!!
And voted for Other.
Cassandra Clare’s world and JK Rowling’s Wizard World are just two other worlds come to mind. Oh and Nalini Singh’s Shifters world and The Guild Hunter’s world!
Some of these I knew and some I didn’t. It was really hard to choose..
I chose Faith Hunter’s Jane Yellowrock
But I would also love to live in Sherrily Kenyon’s Dark hunter world, Larissa Ione’s Demonica and Horsemen, Nalini Singh’s Psy-Changeling and Guild (Bluebell! aodbhan too!). Wouldn’t mind living in Alexis Morgan’s world with the avatars and warriors. Yum!
Though I do know it isn’t romance but I would love to live in mercedes Lackey’s valdemar world. Though what I would be is hard to point down. I’d love to have a companion but I would also love to be a shin’a'in or hawkbrother.
I just voted for ‘Other.’ I’m familiar with a few of these worlds, but wouldn’t want to live there. I love The Hollows, but I’ve never really loved the vampire ‘rules.’ One world I think would be cool to live in would be the one (well 2) that Richelle Mead created in her Eugenie Markham series. Or I could just be the roommate/sidekick for October Daye.
I too picked Other, as I definitely don’t want any of the vamp worlds either. Sookie Sackhouse’s New Orleans might not be to bad though.
Oh, and Molly Harper’s Half Moon Hollow wouldn’t be too bad either.
I voted Other because the world I would want to live in is Caldwell, NY, the home of the BDB.
Joey W. Hill’s “Vampire Queen” world! Hands down…
yes they are good also
Sometimes a good fantasy is so much better than reality. To be loved, desired and treasured as all these women are is the ultimate fantasy. SIGN ME UP!!!!!
D B RENOLDS VAMPIRES IN AMERICA love all the charaters.
One selection I chose other. I love the shifter wolves packs. Too many to narrow it down to one.
The Vampires in America world…Raphael’s territory! Of course someone would have to get rid of that pesky Cyn for me…
well…out of those choices, i would totally go with D.B. Reynolds Vampires in America…i keep hoping that one of the vampire lords might be in need of a decent bartender *winks*
I voted for Cincinatti Rachel Morgan/Hollows by Kim Harrison and Anne Rice’s New Orleans (Vampire Chronicles). I also love Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter world.
Vampires in America. And I’d like to live in Raphael’s territory :)Why? 1-’cause I hate cold just like he does. And 2- he’s the strongest of them all. His people are protected and he’s always fair. The same can be said about the others but Raphael and Cyn are my favorites.
If I’d have to choose another it will be Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter world.
D. B. Reynolds’ Vampires in America - no contest! But which territory? Hmmm…Gotta go with Malibu, California, my home state. Oh, and of course, my beloved BBF, Raphael. Nobody writes gorgeous, powerful alpha vamps like DB. She makes me sigh every time. Stay healthy, my friend!
Any territory in Vampires in America world, by DB Reynolds! This is an amazing world! When reading one of these books I always feel like I’m there.
Vampires in America is my favourite series, and I would love to live in Raphael’s territory!! He is soooo yummy!! Better yet, maybe a future Vampire Lord who doesn’t have a mate. *winks*
Anne Rice’s world- only if I get to live with Marius.
Chicago for the Chicagoland Vampires- there are just so many options!
There is no finer escape into a fantasy world than DB Reynolds’ Vampires in America. If I had to chose a territory in America it would be Duncan’s because, hey, I would love to be anywhere Duncan is! *sigh* but Lucas and Aden’s territories would rival for second place.
Would love to live in Aden’s world from the Vampires in America series. It’s dark and steamy, just the right atmosphere for an adventure.
I voted other, The Dark Hunter world (Sherrilyn Kenyon) New Orleans
I originally chose the Harry Dresden’s Chicago by Jim Butcher and anything in the Ann Rice world but I would have also picked Cincinatti Rachel Morgan/Hollows by Kim Harrison because there is a combination of various people with different abilities working together
I would like = Cincinatti Rachel Morga/Hollows by Kim Harrisaon
& others = Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter World.
Only 2 sucks. I wanted to vote for Seattle, St. Louis, Ok, Hollows and Chicago - they tie for 1st place. Had to eeniemeenie it…
The first vampire series that I read was the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J. R. Ward and I was hooked on vampires. Having said that, the Vampires In America by D.b. Reynolds and the BDB are my two choices.
I chose Other, because I really like the post-Millenium revelation world of Delilah Street series.
The Venice of Carolina Valdez’ NIGHT TRAIN series is definitely seductive!
Anita Blake’s world
I voted other. I want to escape into a steampunk universe.
Kaeleer and Lakeside Courtyard by Anne Bishop
Terre d’Ange by Jacqueline Carey
