I am SO freaking excited for this week! We had MORE votes last week than the week before. It is going to be a CRAZY race to the finish. So, from this list in no particular order are my choices for the ultimate book Boyfriend:

Jean Claude
Adam Hauptman
sigh…looks like Jamie is going to win, but his book is probably one of the biggest selling romances. Also he has a TV movie coming out! But my heart will always be with Barrons. Just love his attitude
and he says fuck a lot.
SharonS, it isn’t a movie. It is a TV show done by Ron Moore/Sony/Starz. It is a power-house production with a $50 million budget for 16 episodes for the first season. They are thinking they will produce the first book the first season and then do about a book each following season. In some ways this reminds me of when they made Roots into a mini-series. They aren’t cutting corners. They are trying to make an authentic TV production of the book, and the author, Diana Gabaldon, is very excited and pleased with everything she has seen. If Dr G is happy, I’m happy.
And! not a romance!! So looking forward to this series
and the new book!

I just voted for Adam. He just seems to me, for lack of a better word- stable. It’s book ‘boyfriend’ after all, not book ‘dude I’d like to bone but has some stuff going on.’ Although I admit I haven’t read about a lot of these guys.

I’ve read the Sherrilyn Kenyon books and both KMM series (highlander and fever) and JAMMF just surpasses them all…though this bones character sounds intriguing…
No and I am the same this man has been made real for a lot of women but it is Dianas writing that does the magic. Jamie is good , bad weak, strong, sexy, innocent and any way you want to describe him. Its the author that makes him what he is Thank you to Diana.
I love Jamie Fraser he is my hero of choice. He can save my butt anytime. I have my bad boy fantasies about Roarke. He is just so dam cool!
