He’s in the Real Vampires series by Gerry Bartlett. I love this series, it is funny and easy to read. Glory the main character owns is a vampire who owns a vintage clothing store and is always getting into to trouble. Jeremy is her on again off again lover (and maker) of like 400 plus years. He’s a real Scotsman. *drool* A couple of her other guys are pretty hot too like Rafe and Rae, but Jeremy just is swoon worthy. He’s bringing broadsword to the yard! hahahah
Got it- it is the Glory St. Claire series. That is one of the ones that i just have not gotten around to yet. I’ll bump it in my TBR list.
Real Vampires series is wonderful and Blade is hot.

I randomly chose 3 of JR Ward’s BDB characters as they are all worthy boyfriends though non top Roarke. Even though he’s not a live forever kind of guy, 50 years or Roarke will still be better than forever with any other.
I love Curran and Adam Hauptmann. I love Jane Yellowrock…the jury is still out on Bruiser
Did you have a chance to read his short stories in the Companion? I think that is where I really, really fell hard for him. There is one that is his POV from their first meeting & a previously unseen dancing interaction from his POV. Be still my beating heart! You must check those two out!
ITA- when I saw Jane through Bruiser’s eyes, I finally “got” him. I cannot wait to see how their relationship develops.
I was already a bit partial to him but when I read those it sealed the deal for me. I am so excited for the next book!
Still having a hard time thinking of PNR boyfriends, though Lucien from Sean Michael’s LOVE IS BLINDNESS was the first vampire character to make me understand what the fuss is about. Griff from Damon Suede’s HOT HEAD is still my favorite book boy…

Jane Yellowrock’s Bruiser is my all time favorite. He burns me up, but in a good way. I don’t dance but he makes me really want to.
I only voted for Adam Hauptman. He’s a good leader and protector, a stand-up guy, good-looking…okay, and gots money. I know a lot of guys on this list are good-looking and rich, but aren’t really ‘boyfriend’ material (in my opinion.)

Eric Northman - he deeply loved Sookie and Charlaine Harris had Sookie treat him like dirt which ruined the series. I re-read beloved books but not this series as the final book caused such heart ache and ruined the investment of time.
I voted for Eric Northman and I’m also voting for other, Adrian from Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead. I didn’t really love Dimitri or Vampire Academy series, but I love the spin-off:)

Jamie Frazer…I’ve read a lot of books over my 70 years, and He is the most lovable, realistic, fiction character. Diana Gabalon’s characters are all fabulous.
My #1 now is Trenton from Kim Harrison’s Hallows/Rachel Morgan series. Curran from Kate Daniels series and Adam From Mercy Thompson tie for 2nd.

I vote for Jamie Fraser first. He’s everything a girl/woman would want in a man, friend, lover, husband. Then for Gabriel Cross because he’s strong yet vulnerable.

It is so hard to choose, because I of course want all of the MacKalters, Adam Black and Ryodan to go with JZB and live with me forever, but I am also now a hug fan of Jamie Fraser. Ok, I admist it, I want a braw Highlander! And if he happens to be a shapeshifter, so much the better!

Then you go to contemporary series and how about Gideon Cross………..what a man and what he did for his love. There are soooo many Book boyfriends that iit is very hard to choose just three!!!!
James Malcom McKenzie Fraser (Jaime) from Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series. He says things to Claire that break your heart with the love he expresses. He’s a Highlander Warrior, intelligent, loyal and willing to go to any lengths for those he loves. Not to mention a great lover!

I am an avid reader but definitely not a fan of vampires. Something missing, I guess, however for a sci-fi book boyfriend, in my opinion no one tops Roarke. I love Nora Roberts, she is a very prolific writer & absolutely paints beautiful pictures with words.
James Frazier is definitely the current leader amongst male heroes. He rivals Mr. Darcy for all-time favorite hero when you consider that Diana Gabaldon has sold 20 million copies of Outlander.
Jamie Fraser is not my book boyfriend - he’s my book husband. I came thisclose to giving a vote to Matthew Clairmont of the All Souls Trilogy in the preliminary, but I just couldn’t be unfaithful. The Outlander series has changed my life. Thanks, Diana, for the book hubs and all the rest of my book besties.
