Beauty and the Bachelor by Naima Simone

Author Naima Simone Release Party and $55.00 Amazon Gift Card Contest

Beauty and the Bachelor (Entangled Indulgence) (Bachelor Auction) by Naima Simone I have a confession to make. A guilty pleasure to admit to… No, not my Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta and Total Divas obsession. Nope, not the fact that I bought the last New Kids on the Block CD. *cough* And no, not my addiction to all things Emily Delicious…

Nope, my secret is this…

I love millionaires.

I do. I mean, who doesn’t love a man who, on a moment’s notice, can sweep his woman away on his luxurious jet to a private island? An island he owns, by the way. A man who hands over his double platinum-Pretty Woman-Rodeo Drive card without a care to price tags or credit limits? A man who can close down a five-star restaurant so he and his woman can have a sumptuous dinner followed by a private concert from Lionel Richie? Okay, so I haven’t read the Lionel Richie serenade yet, but still, what’s not to love about a man who can do all of the above? And still be driven, Alpha and sexy? Shooooot.

The hero in Beauty and the Bachelor, my new release from Entangled Publishing’s Indulgence line, is a scarred, bitter millionaire bent on revenge. Now some would ask what do I know about millionaires…namely, my father who asked me what makes me enough of an expert on millionaires that I can write a book about one. *sigh* Such a skeptic, that one. Because I do have experience with the elite one-percenters that qualifies me to write about them. Here’s my résumé:

1. I watched Silver Spoons, Diff’rent Strokes and Dynasty for years. Research. All writers have to do their research. And I started mine from a very young age. I learned that although millionaires may have their…well, millions in common, they are varied. They are, uh, eccentric—train riding, conductor cap-wearing—and philanthropic as well as ruthless. I also learned what a man bitch slap looked like…

2. I’ve owned real estate property, hotels, railroads and utilities. *Blink. Blink.* What? I have…

3. I’ve inherited wealth from a relative. True, it was a wealth of hair, boob-age and backwoods remedies for bee stings, burns and swollen knees, but it was definitely an inheritance. *nodding*

4. Many of them are cash poor…as am I. For years I worked in the banking industry where I reviewed the profit and loss statements of many a wealthy client. I soon learned a good portion of their wealth was tied up in investments, stock, equipment and real estate. Same goes for me. Althooouuugh, a good portion of my assets are tied up in books, weave, shoes and Cherry Cokes. No, not Coke stock, but literally, Cherry Cokes…

5. I have greedy, grasping family members. So many millionaires endure constant demands of “More, more, more,” and “I want…” from relatives. These family members are always tugging on them to gimme this, loan me that. *sigh* I, too, understand this endless demand of resources. They’re called children.

So how’s that for experience? I’m ready for my high-rise and penthouse now…

About Naima Simone

Author Naima Simone

Author Bio:

Naima Simone’s love of romance was first stirred by Johanna Lindsey, Sandra Brown and Linda Howard many years ago. Well not that many. She is only eighteen…ish. Though her first attempt at a romance novel starring Ralph Tresvant from New Edition never saw the light of day, her love of romance, reading and writing has endured. Published since 2009, she spends her days—and nights— creating stories of unique men and women who experience the first bites of desire, the dizzying heights of passion, and the tender, healing heat of love.

She is wife to Superman, or his non-Kryptonian, less bullet proof equivalent, and mother to the most awesome kids ever. They all live in perfect, sometimes domestically-challenged bliss in the southern United States.

  1. Who are some of your favourite authors?

    • Hi, Minna!
Ooh, this list could get veeerry lengthy…LOL! I luvs me some Nalini Singh. I mean, the woman deserves a national day of observance for how brilliant she is! I’ve started a petition, but so far, no luck. *sigh* I also love Sandra Brown, Linda Howard, Beth Kery, Tessa Bailey, Kylie Scott, Jessica Lee, Debra Glass, Johanna Lindsey, Stacy Reid, J.R. Ward….whew! And company! LOL!! What are some of your fave authors, Minna?

Thank you for coming through and visiting with me!

  2. Hi Naima!

Looks like Minna beat me again. LOL

Welcome back girl, good to have you here at the BBB!

Now, I am sure you are aware of this but, by admitting you watched those shows is telling of your age, OR an addiction to Netflix. Which one is it. LOL Because I didn’t watch them on netflix. hahahah

    • LMAOLMAO!!! Umm, I’m definitely telling my age…dang! I didn’t think about that when I was writing that blog…snicker! Although, I have to say, Netflix is TOTALLY missing out by not having those shows in their line-up! I would do a Dynasty marathon in. A. Heartbeat!!

  3. To answer your questions that are on the Giveaway Tools Widget. ;)

    1. Which millionaire does it for you: Gideon Cross, Bruce Wayne or Oliver Queen?

I only knew who Bruce Wayne was, and had to google the other two.

    Uh Gideon Cross? ***DROOOOLING****

Oliver Queen well, he is HOT but I like dark hair and eyes. So, I did a bit of creative googling to find somebody not on your list. LOL

This guy is apparently a real Greek Millionaire. Not to bad and easy on the eyes.
    http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_J1KIGsCpMdI/S2U-rbU2JUI/AAAAAAAAAeM/uDU6PgeTSeg/s320/Terry+Serepisos+Andrew+Gorrie+The+Dominion+Post.jpg

How about you Naima? Who would you pick from your list. lol

    • Get. Your. Drool. On!! Gideon Cross is da BOMB!! And yes, I do know that’s about 30 years old, but I’m bringing it back. Hee-hee! He is drool-worthy!! And Oliver Queen? That’s mah man!! I luvs him! Okay, yeah, the REAL Greek millionaire is nice looking. I mean, if you’re going to pull the Real Millionaire Card… :-D But off that list? I’m choosing Oliver Queen. One reason. The man’s a vigilante superhero who wears leather and rocks it! Yaaaaaahhhhhssss!!!

  4. 2. If you had your pick of any book being turned into a movie-with you cast in the starring role-what book would it be and what role would you play?

    Girl this is HARD! hmmmkayyy

My first smart ass reaction was Moby Dick and I’d be the whale! bahahaha but today is be nice to myself day. soooooo

Oh good grief. My mind is all over the bad board. LOL

okay I better get bonus points for this!
Beauty and the Bachelor and I want to be cast as Sydney Blake!

    • BONUS POINTS!! BONUS POINTS!!! LOLOL!! You win! I don’t know what you win exactly, but it’s yours for that answer! LOLOL!!

Moby Dick. Snicker!! Yeah, be nice to yourself-although that’s hilarious… If I had to pick, one of them would be Elena from Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series. And Henry Cavill would play Raphael…oh yes, he would…:-D

      • Piggy-back off Rachel’s questions.

If you had to pick only one of your books to be made into a movie, which would it be? Disclaimer: You can’t do a LOTR and choose the whole Secrets and Sins Series. LOL!

        • Daaaaaang!! Paul, how did you know those were my answers?? LOLOL!! Okay, fine. *grumble* I would like Under His Wings to be made into a movie and have Peter Jackson direct it! Boom! Hahahahahah!! Definitely!

          • Hahaha! Nice choice! I’m sure Peter Jackson and his makeup team could do a wonderful job with the transformation.

  5. 3. Who is your favorite superhero and why? Sue me. I’m on a superhero kick.

hmmm my favorite superhero is Kritter the demon doggie from Hades! No wait that’s my dog.

I am on a villain and defiance kick so I am going to say (for the win I might add)

    LEX LUTHOR!

    • LOLOL!! Lex was cool! From Gene Hackman to Smallville to the Justice League cartoons, Lex kinda rocks. Something about a man with a bald head…yeah. I just wanna rub it! The bald head, that is. The head on top, I mean…why do I feel like I’m explaining myself…?

  6. Hi. Congratulations on your new release. What is your favorite book or series that you have written so far and why????

    • Hi, Brandy!
Thank yoouuu!! Great question! She says as she stalls for time to figure out the answer…LOL!! This one is about as hard as the favorite author question because each book is special to me for different reasons. Buuut since I get to pick a series, I’m going to say the Secrets and Sins series because it was my first completed series, and they were my first, true romantic suspense books. All of them stretched and pushed me as a writer, and I’m so proud of them. As far as book, probably my recent release, Beauty and the Bachelor, because it’s the one I’ve written that’s closest to the category books I read and loved since I was a kid. Yes, I did cheat with that answer. LOL!! Thanks, Brandy!! :-D

  7. What’s your favorite cocktail to unwind with at night?

    • I’m dodging the rotten tomatoes as I dodge this, but Steve, I don’t really drink. My husband buys wine and will have a glass after dinner, and he calls me a plebian because I always hiss and hack and cough after a sip. LOL!! But, that said, when I visited New Orleans a few years ago, I had the best tasting drink in the world. It was called a Lemon Drop. Yooooooooooo!! Awe-sooome! And in NO, they serve in huge Big Gulp size cups. I was walking down Bourbon Street like, Ooooh, ain’t you pretty? And oh wow. Look at her boobs, ain’t she sweet? Wooow-uh. He’s pissing against the brick wall! Hiiii, Mr. Sir!! Oh, yeah. Three. Sheets. To. The. Wind. LOLOLOL!!

  8. Congratulations on the release of Beauty and the Bachelor! Do you have a favorite character from one of your books? Was this character easy or difficult to write?

    • Hi, Bonnie!
Thank you!! I’m super excited about its release! :-D I think my fave character from one of my books would have to be Tamar from one of the only two paranormals I ever had the guts to write, Under His Wings. LOL!! She was relatively easy to write, because right from the beginning she was so vivid in my mind and then on the page. Not that she was a simple character, by any means. But I loved her because she was a survivor of not just an almost fatal accident but emotional and physical abuse. And then, she faced other challenges later, but she faced them all with strength, humor and grace. I would want to grow up to be her. :-D She jumped out of my mind and onto the page. I never had this period of learning her voice because it came so naturally. So yeah, Tamar. Now why do I feel like I have to apologize to the rest of my characters… LOLOL!! Thanks, Bonnie! Great questions!

  9. Congratulations on another awesome book release!!!

    Two questions.

    1. If you had the chance to meet one of your favorite authors, who would it be?

    2. Being a romance author with some pretty hot scenes, do you ever do your own R&D? (just wondering) LOL!

    • Hey, Paul!!
And thank you!! For the book birthday wishes and the “awesome” comment. LOL!! Yep, I’m preening. *snicker*

Hands down, Paul, it would be Nalini Singh. Hands. Down. I would probably clam up and start blushing like a school girl ’cause I’m such a huuuuge fan, and it would be like meeting Vin Diesel without the raging hormones, but yep. Nalini. :-D And I tease my hubby about being head of R&D, but that might just be a figurehead position according to him. LOLOLOL!! Actually, when I have questions about some of the more adventuresome things, I have a good friend who fills me in with details. Probably too much detail, actually….Hahahahahahah!!!

  10. Is there any particular author or book that influenced you in any way either growing up or as an adult?

    • Hey, Lisa!!
The book that influenced me-as far as reading AND writing-was C.S. Lewis’ The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I loved reading before I read it when I was a kid, but whoa! It took me to a different level. It blew my mind as far as imagination and fantasy and symbolism! And just what an AWESOME adventure!! I’ve always wanted to write books that make people feel like the first time I read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Like they’ve been transported to a magical place that they don’t want to come back from. :-)

  11. Raonaid Luckwell

If you could pick any author’s brains (You know in the brainstorm capacity) dead or alive, who would you choose?

    • Hi, Raonaid!
I’m going to switch it up a little, because Nalini Singh is a given. Hee-hee! I would LUUUUUV to brainstorm with J.R. Ward, Karen Marie Moning and C.S. Lewis. The way their brains work as far as world-building, plotting, characterization, symbolism…sigh. They’re all brilliant! You, too, Nalini! Hahahahahahahah!!!

      • Raonaid Luckwell

I sooo agree with you on Nalini Singh. I absolutely enjoy that woman’s Guild books (she actually inspired me on my winged elves in my world with their wings colors and designs) and Psy-changeling books..

Another brilliant author I’d love to pick her brains is Mercedes Lackey. That woman is a goddess to me. Not only is her worlds wonderful but she creates music fo it.

        • Yes!! Aren’t the Guild Hunter and Psy-Changeling series the BEST? I stalk her website to find out when the next books in the series are coming out because she can’t write fast enough for me. The complexity of her beings and worlds are freaking amazing!! Wow!! How many books does Mercedes Lackey have?? I was just scrolling through the books page on her site, and I wouldn’t know where to start!!

          • Raonaid Luckwell

Yes! When I discovered her I practically gorged on her Psy-Changeling books to prepare for Hawk’s book. Then for something Bittenbybooks was doing, I had to cram in the first two Guild books (not hardship there)

I was bummed when someone at the site I review for beat me to her latest Guild book. It’s Nessar’s book. I had to console myself and tell myself “At least you got Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dragonbane”

Lots. Mercedes Lackey has been writing far longer than Nalini Singh. It depends on how you want to read her Valdemar books. She did not write them in Chronological order. I read them out of chronological order. Technially the Gryphon books are first, chronologically. But you can get away with reading them whenever. They are a backstory that revisits later on in the order.

I would suggest starting with The Last Herald Mage trilogy ( Magic’s Price; Magic’s Pawn, and Magic’s Promise) - Vanyel, I would love to see him immortalized on tv. Then the Arrow’s books (Arrow’s Flight, Arrows of the Queen and Arrow’s fall.)

And if you really want to know about Tamra, it is okay to read the Oath books before them. They are set in the world but you really don’t see Valdemar.

By the Sword you can read after the Oath books since it’s about Kethry’s granddaughter and Tamra trained her with the sword.

Hope that helps. The rest of e series you can read at whatever leisure you want.

        • I am soooo crushing on you right now, Raonaid! This is awesome! I’m diving in!!

          • Raonaid Luckwell

            - Grins - I hope you enjoy… I know sometimes I wish I had the silver tongue ability to read myself in that series sooo damn badly. I would love to see the Shin’a'in and Hawk brother…

But to say I am a Lackey geek fan is an understatement. I bought the woman’s Filk cds. The only sucky part is you can only get them from one place. You can not get them on iTunes.

  12. Raonaid Luckwell

1.Which millionaire does it for you: Gideon Cross, Bruce Wayne or Oliver Queen?
—- I may catch grief but to be completely honest… none of them does it for me. Now, if you tossed in Stark’s name, and it’s RDJ’s Stark, I would vote him. There is something sexy about a man that has a fully loaded snarky snapback for any given situation. I love wise-ass snarky quips. They make me laugh..
    2. If you had your pick of any book being turned into a movie–with you cast in the starring role–what book would it be and what role would you play?
—- I would dearly love to see Mercedes Lackey’s Valdemar books made into movies (or at least animation, but it cannot be drawn in the slap-dash way the American animations are drawn or Disney. I want it done like Japanese animation.. Yes, I love anime).
Oh man… if I had a starring role, I would love to play Tamra even though I would not do her justice and I am too fair headed and light. The mere thought of playing a swordswoman dedicated to her goddess for vengeance on her massacred clan, a swordswoman who is more badass than Xena with a dry sense of humor… ahhh a dream come true.

    3. Who is your favorite superhero and why?
—- To be completely honest… I do not have a favorite superhero. Never really found any that appeal to me… Give me people like Xena or like mentioned above Tamra who is totally awesome.

    • Raonaid, you will get no grief from me whatsoevah!! I luvs me some Tony Stark! How could I have forgotten him is beyond me! I’m slapping my forehead! His sarcasm is as super sexy as that big ol’…brain. Hee-hee! From the way you described Tamra, I want that movie made, too! LOL! And my son adores anime and one night my husband and I just started watching a couple of the shows with him. Next thing I knew, three hours had passed! LOL! So, I definitely agree with you on that. Yeeesssss, Xena!! She was my IDOL for years!! Great choice!!

      • Raonaid Luckwell

What was funny… I had just finished typing that first sentence (about catching grief for choosing none of those listed) when I thought “Hey, there is one billionaire I wouldn’t mind having.” Robert Downing Jr’s Stark came to mind and I was reminded how much I enjoy his character. With the right person snark and sarcasm can be a sexy combination when done right (and damn does he do it right)

I started to like Tamra from listening to one of Mercedes Lackey’s filk songs. I simply could not wait to get my mits on those books (I’ll post the link to the song). But yes, Tamra is in the Oath books ( Oathbreakers, The Oathbound, and Oathblood. One of those books is a collection of short stories about Tamra, the mage Kethry, and Waarl. I would recommend reading them. Tamra and Kethry in a small way do put me in mind of Xena and Gabrielle. I love the two women’s friendship…

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEh8s3kCmHo

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwM85N1ElVw

The songs show Tamra’s attitude and why I love her!

Ooooh, what anime did you watch? The hubby and I are taking our two teenage sons and 17 year old niece to an anime convention in October. Goddess help us, two 17 year olds and a mouthy 14 year old. But I thought since they like anime they should attend a con at least once

        • RDJ’s Stark is the epitome of doing snark right! LOL!! The Oath books. Cool! I’ll start with those book links. And THANKS for the Youtube links! I’m getting ready to go listen. I think the shows we ended up watching with my son were Naruto and Attack on Titans. Later we watched High School of the Dead. I think he got a little irritated with us asking him so many questions about what was going on. LOL! The other shows he watches are Souleater, Bleach and Dragonball Z. Where is the anime convention? My son would LOOOOVE to attend one! And my thoughts are with you escorting two 17 year olds and a 14 year old anywhere, much less a convention. LOLOL!! But they should have an awesome time! You all should! It sounds like a blast!

          • Raonaid Luckwell

Anime titles I am familiar with… My fourteen year old absolutely loves Dragonball Z (for Christmas he is getting a hoodie that looks like Goku’s garment). He is watching Naruto and One Piece on Netflix, not particular favorites of mine.

Both, the 14 and 17 year old like Soul Eater. My niece and oldest son got me to watch Bleach. I didn’t really like it but it grew on me. Have him try Fairy Tail - that is a family favorite here. Fruit Basket (that got my niece and sister in law started in anime. It’s cute). Full Metal Panic is funny. I like some of the Gundams (Gundam Wing, Gundam 00 and Gundam Seed)

I am on The Heroic Legend of Arslan, the same drawler for Full Metal Alchemist did it.. but it fits my fantasy needs. LOL. Yes I cold go on and on.. I’d probably be your son’s favorite person. I know I am my nieces. I’m the only family member aside my sons for her to talk anime and manga with. Any new anime or manga I get I loan to her (she thanked me for one called Karneval)

Word of wise, Beserk gets gory like Attack of the Titans, and very sexually graphic.

Huntington, WV (October 9th). The hubby and I had attended an anime con when my 14 year old was a baby. I met an on-line friend. We had a blast. Why I think my sons and niece would enjoy the experience.

Ask your son if he has ever heard of Pocky. LOL. It’s another quirk that comes with liking anime.

        • LOL! I just showed my son the list of anime shows and he’s getting ready to do a search for them now. I think he might be crushing on you, too! Snicker! I also said, there’s an anime convention in Huntington, WV in October. Him: Let’s go. LOL!!! I would love to take him. I would have a ball at that, too, shoooot. I asked him about Pocky, but he hasn’t heard of it. But give him about 10 minutes…he’s looking. Snicker!

          • Raonaid Luckwell

Sorry, had to do a store run… The two teenagers needed guitar picks. The fourteen year old is taking guitar class in high school.

            - Laughs - Then I possibly should not tell him about Funimation network. We have roku, so I pestered hubby to spend $55 (or there about) for a whole year’s subscription. 24 7 anime - well only Funimation titles which includes DBZ, Fairy Tail, Full Metal Alchemist, Hellsing, etc. Plus whaever they get streaming from Japan.

LMAO!!! I told my sons and niece “Don’t be afraid to ask cosplayers to take pictures with you. You don’t think I won’t?” Had we the money I would have let them. My middle outgrew his America (as in Hetalia anime) costume.

Pocky - it’s a Japanese treat, and it is really good. It’s chocolate (or strawberry depending on the flavor) bread sticks. If he really, really wants to try it… Take him to Walmart, find the Asian section, and they should have either “Chocolate” or “Strawberry” for a dollar. Any other flavors he’d have to get it on-line.

My on-line friend introduced it to me and my sons (me at the con we met up at). Then, she use to send me some during my birthdays and Christmas. LOL, until I learned Walmart carries them.

        • LMBO!! I just told my son you’re getting yours a hoodie that looks like Goku’s garment for Christmas and he said, I would LOVE that. She’s awesome. Direct quote. LOL!! So yeah, you definitely have a fan in the Simone household. Now I guess I need to do some searching for this hoodie… :-D

  13. Who is your favorite superhero and why? Sue me. I’m on a superhero kick.

Green Latern - Whatever he imagines take shape from a ring. What’s not to like?

    • Do you know what I could DO with that ring, Paul?? Very dangerous…very. LOLOL!! I’m waiting for them to make a Green Lantern TV show like The Flash and Arrow. I would SO watch! Awesome choice!

  14. Do you have any other recent shows that you watch and that you are really crazy about?

    • Oh yeeeesssss, Amanda! I am an admitted reality TV junkie. I can’t help it! They’re like train wrecks that I don’t just slow down to watch, but park across the street and pop up my little bleacher chair with snacks and a Cherry Coke! LOL!! Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. Dr. Phil. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Married to Medicine. Ink Master. Newlyweds: First Year. And then let’s not forget Sleepy Hollow, Arrow and The Flash! But the most recent show that I’m so hooked on that I count down the days to? Scream on MTV. It’s a new show that’s based on the movies. I didn’t think I would like it, but I went over to my sister’s house one day and she was watching it…Hoooooked! It’s really good! LOL! I mean, I cannot figure out who the killer is! I’m really hoping they don’t go the expected route and follow the movie…yes, I’m rambling… :-D

      • WOW!!! When do you find the time to write?!?!?! LOL

        • LOLOL!! I can seriously multi-task!! Like I’m watching Dr. Phil right now as I’m typing! Woman-who I think is seriously delusional-thinks her husband is a serial cheater. She’s seeing footprints on the back of the car seat when really, lady? It’s just dust. LOL!! These shows are also my motivation for writing in the morning and afternoon, because I have mah shows to gorge on!!

      • I have watched episodes of Ink Master and a couple of the other tattoo shows such as Miami Ink, LA Ink, Tattoo Nightmares and Bad Ink (This one takes place in Las Vegas).

How you heard of the show Married at First Sight? (Season 2 was on the A&E and FYI Networks and they were supposed to being taping a third season in Atlanta for the show)

        • I’ve seen all of those tattoo shows you listed! LOL! Maybe it’s because I love tattoos myself (I have 6. :-D ), but I love seeing the finished pieces! Yeeessss, Amanda! I LOVE Married at First Sight! I watched season 1 and this past season! Season 1′s couples did FAR better than 2′s! Ryan (Jessica’s Ryan) was a total tool! But I was surprised when they stayed together! When I saw on the reunion show that it all went to Hades, I felt vindicated. Like my radar was not off. LOLOL!! What a jerk! I also watched this new show, Arranged that was about three couples who were brought together through arranged marriages. It was a surprisingly good show! I only started watching it because nothing else was on and I got hooked on it, too. *smh* As a matter-of-fact, that’s what my hubby does often-shake his head… :-D

  15. 1. Which millionaire does it for you: Gideon Cross, Bruce Wayne or Oliver Queen? From the pictures, I am going to go with Oliver Queen

    3. Who is your favorite superhero and why? Sue me. I’m on a superhero kick. — Don’t really have a favorite superhero because I don’t really watch shows/movies about characters from comic books or wherever

    • Oh, Oliver… He is so sexy, brilliant and dangerous. I love how he has his own code he lives by, and while other people might not agree with it, it is honorable. And how he can go from affable and charming to a cold and hardened is sex-aay!! And okay, yes…he HOT! LOL!! No fave superhero? Don’t worry. Since you think Oliver is loovely, we can pick Arrow. :-D See? THIS is why I’m the negotiator in my house…snicker!

  16. Hello! I love Johanna Lindsey, Sandra Brown and Linda Howard too. Do you have a favorite book that you like to re-read?

    • Hi, Susan!!
Definitely! Every year I re-read Son of the Morning by Linda Howard. Sigh. And each time I swear it only gets better. Grace and Niall are two of my absolute favorite characters of all time! From the plot, the characters to the world-building to the romance. Each element is perfection! So yeah, I kinda love the book…Hee-hee!

  17. Hi Naima!

I actually have a friend that works on production for Total Divas! My personal tv guilty pleasures are ghost shows- like all of them! I can’t help myself :) Do you have any other shows that you consider guilty pleasures?

I guess Bruce Wayne out of those choices- but I am pretty partial to the vampire millionaires.

Book into movie-hmmmmm. I don’t know if I would go the movie route- I think Netflix or Amazon is the way to go. The Belgariad/Mallorean series by David Eddings is something I would love to see on screen- so I would want to be Polgara (even though I totally do not look like her- it’s ok- Hollywood magic!)

My favorite super hero- I don’t really have one but I love the X-Men!

    • Hey, Kristin!! *waving*
Noooooooo! Get out!! I’m so jealous! Seriously, I can blame my son for my Total Divas addiction. He loves WWE, so I started watching it one day with him, and now I’M the one who DVRs it. LOL!! I think if I worked on the production team and had to see those Divas all the time I would get seriously motivated to work out more. Hahahahahahah!! Love those ladies!

My fave vampire millionaire? Damon on Vampire Diaries. Sarcasm, anit-hero and the most electric blue eyes EVAH! :-D I haven’t heard of the Belgariad/Mallorean series by David Eddings! But it sounds cool! And yes, that’s what Hollywood is for, if not to create some magic on our behalf. Because I would totally become Elena from the Guild Hunter series! Somehow I would have a super tight body, white blonde hair and look like Charlize Theron. *nodding* Speaking of Netflix…have you see the new Daredevil series on Netflix? Nothing like the Ben Affleck movie. It’s a-maziiing! Dark, gritty and awesome! X-Men rule!! They’re like an en masse superhero pick! LOL!!

      • She loves it! I think they are going back into production this week, so she gets to travel all over the country and everyone is really nice (as far as I know!)

I do love a good anti-hero! I have been meaning to watch Daredevil since it was released, have heard nothing but good things! I just need some time so I can binge. I devoured the Wet Hot American summer series but that was only 8 episodes…

        • I haven’t heard of the Wet Hot American series, but my Saturday is open so guess what’s on the agenda? :-D Yep, Kristin, wait until you have a whole day to devote to Daredevil. Because you’re not going to be able to watch just one episode. It’s just that good!

          • You have to watch the movie first! It came out early 90s and is basically a bunch of a list comedians. The series is a prequel of sorts they just released but to really get all the jokes, for sure watch the movie

        • Movie AND series? I might have to DVR Rifleman to get it all in! :-D Thanks for the head’s up!

  18. What is your favorite New Edition song?

    • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Bethany, I’m so in love with this question! My fave New Edition song would have to be My Secret and Lost in Love. And Mr. Telephone Man!! Can’t forget about Mr. Telephone! My sister, cousin and I had dance routines to My Secret and Mr. Telephone Man. LOL!! And yes, i cheated with naming three songs instead of one. Hee-hee! Do you have a favorite New Edition song, Bethany? What member was your teen crush?

      • To be honest, they came out a little before my time. Musically I’m more of a Bel Biv Devoe girl. I’m sure I don’t have to explain why that’s relevant. Given my age it would be weird to have had a crush on them, but for the record Johnny Gill was the best looking. And had the best voice. Sorry, Ralph.

        • You know you just stabbed me deep, right, Bethany? Like right in the heart with that before my time comment. LOLOL!! I loved Bel Biv Devoe! That girl is poisooooon! Never trust a big butt ‘n a smile! :-D And they still kill it when they perform. Okay, so Johnny was cute…but I have to remain true to Ralph. My first romance book was about him so there are some kind of loyalty rules I have to adhere to, I’m sure…snicker!

          • I did say ‘a little’ before my time. I’m not exactly sorority material. My high school dances were just more Boyz II Men era. I still however never trust a big butt and a smile.

          • Boyz II Men! Yaaaahhhhhsssss!! LOVED them! Still do. CooleyHighHarmoney was the best CD evah!! And I don’t trust ‘em either. LOLOLOL!!

  19. Author questions-
I admit I have no idea who Gideon Cross is. Bruce Wayne or Oliver Queen are both good choices: both obscenely wealthy, but instead of just kicking back and being selfish jerks, they choose to do what they can to help people.
I heart Seanan McGuire’s October Daye series massively. Of course I would play Toby herself. Then eventually when her ‘fetch’ got introduced I could play her as well. Tatiana Maslany, you will not take this from me!
I’m pretty psyched about Thor being a lady.

    • Gideon Cross? You have no idea what you’re missing. He’s Alpha, dominant, tortured, yummy hotness in Sylvia Day’s Crossfire series. It’s not a book/series…it’s an experience. ‘Nuff said. I won’t shame you into reading it…but how COULD YOU NOT??? Snicker! But since you made a very valid point about both Bruce and Oliver, I shall cease the shaming…at least here in this comment. Hahahahahah!! Okay, I’m stopping, I promise! You are so right about both Bruce and Oliver. And I love the fact that both are vigilantes but have a steel moral code-it’s just their own. :-D I haven’t heard of Seanan McGuire’s October Daye…go ahead…I’m waiting for it. Give the shaming back to me…hee-hee! But now, I’m going to look this and Toby up! What’s this about Thor being a lady? All I’m picturing is Chris Hemsworth in lipstick and a skirt and that’s. Just. Wrong!!

      • My experience with the first few October Daye’s- first book started out kind of weird, wasn’t sure if I was in but eventually I liked it. Second book was good, if a little predictable. Third was really good. Fourth blew my brain. It has been my absolute favorite series since. And definitely google female Thor. She is fierce and glorious. I need armor hammered out to accommodate boobs.

        • How cool is that??? There really is a female Thor!! How did I miss this?? And it’s going to be Jane Foster? Yooooooooooo!! That’s pretty awesome! I wonder if they’re going to include this in the movies. The article I read was talking about the comics. Please include this in the movies!

I’ve learned about several new-to-me authors here! Love it!!

  20. Have you ever been discouraged? How did you go through it?

    • Hi, Ann!
Often, Ann. Like I can count on my hand how many times last week. :-) Seriously though, it’s not uncommon at all. Sometimes when the words aren’t flowing or I receive a negative review or a book isn’t doing as well as I hoped. Or shoot, life happens. But it’s not getting discouraged that’s bad. That’s human. It’s refusing to get shipwrecked there. What I’m learning-still learning-is life is moments. While yesterday I might have been upset and insecure and feeling like no one ever wants to read what I’ll write or I’ll never find the words to finish another book, three days later, a reader might email and tell me how much they enjoyed the book. Or my editor will shoot me a note saying how much she’s enjoying the book. Today’s sorrow or disappointment is not tomorrow’s. And that’s what I keep focus on. And then I pray, focus, read or get to work. Even if what I write is crap. As an author told me once: You can edit sh*t but you can’t edit nothing. I move forward even when I don’t feel like it. Fake it til you make it? Faith it til you make it is my motto. :-)

  21. Hi Naima and Congratulations! I love your millionaire resume’ and I meet some of those qualifications, too! Who is your all-time favorite book character?

    My Answers:

    1. Bruce Wayne

    2. Hmmm, that’s a hard one…Let me ponder a bit

    3. I guess I’d have to go with Batman…

    • Hi, Betty!! *waving*
Why thank you! I believe my resume is strong, too. Hee-hee! My fave book character-just off the top of my head-is Black Niall from Linda Howard’s Son of the Morning. Of course, right after I hit “Post Comment” I’ll probably think of another. LOL! But, yes, I luuvs me some Black Niall. And I totally approve of your choices. And definitely get back to me on number two! I can’t wait to hear what you come up with! :-D

  22. Who is your favorite Muppet and why?

    • My fave Muppet is Miss Piggy! I know I said it last time, but I gotta stick with her! First kick-a** female I remember. She could throw a left hook AND wear kitten heels and elbow gloves! Who does that?? La Femme Nikita, that’s who. And I’m about 87% convinced Nikita was based on Miss Piggy. Just sayin’….

  23. I actually only have a passing acquaintance with Mssrs. Cross and Wayne, and don’t know Oliver Queen. So, I’d have to think about that. Jed Clampett is kinda cool, very unpretentious…

Maybe one of Tara Lain’s GENETIC ATTRACTION books…who could resist being adored by two very sexy guys?

Super Grover, of course…he’s got all the attributes of Grover, and he’s a superhero! He’s helpful and lovable, and can carry off a coal scuttle on his head!

    • ROTFLMAO!!! Jed Clampett. Thank you very much, Trix, now I can’t get the theme song out of my head…LOL!! I’ll say he was unpretentious. Snicker. Jethro though. That’s who I’d snatch up out of the Clampett clan! Another series I have to search on Amazon! And you throw in the bit about being adored by two sexy guys? I’m. In! :-D Super Grover. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! A cape AND can carry off a coal scuttle on his head? What the heck was I thinking about Arrow? LOL!! Love your answers!

  24. Will this be a standalone or will it be a series of different auctions with different bachelors up for grabs? Oh and what favorite tv show would you binge watch, just for the sake of binge watching just because you really wanted to?

as for 1. Which millionaire does it for you: Gideon Cross, Bruce Wayne or Oliver Queen? Right now, definitely liver Queen.

    3. Who is your favorite superhero and why.
Iron Man. Gotta love a man who knows how wield a good snarky comment and knows how to take care of business at the same time.

    • That’s Oliver Queen.

    • Hi, Cassandra! *grinning*
Thanks for asking about the series! *batting my lashes at you* The Bachelor Auction series will feature different bachelors and their heroines but all the books will begin at the same Boston auction. :-D My fave binge watch TV show? Would definitely be Rifleman. I know it’s old school but I can watch the episodes over and over again. Shoooot, I do on Saturday mornings. I love Lucas and Mark. And let’s face it Chuck Connery was verrryyy easy on the eyes! :-D Oh and Snapped! I can marathon watch Snapped all. Day. Long.

Oliver! And I got what you meant. *fist bump* He’s not just your average, pretty-faced rich boy. Watching him do this chin-ups along that wall. Whew, chile! Yeah, I had to go back to my mother’s Virginia roots on that one. LOL!! He’s hot and dangerous. Just like I love ‘em! I’m still mad I didn’t think of Tony Stark! He is the MAN!! And if sarcasm was an art, he would be short one ear right now! LOLOL!!

  25. So, do you play the lottery? I have watched those shows where the people tell the stories about how winning the lottery ruined their lives. I love stories about people who are filthy rich. I figure I can live vicariously while I drink my Cherry Coke! :)

    • I’m a Bruce Wayne fan. I think any guy that can pull off a bat suit is pretty awesome!

    • I’m sorry Jen. You mentioned Cherry Coke and my mind drifted. They’re my weakness. LOL!! I don’t play the lottery! Mainly because the state where I live doesn’t have one. And I’m too lazy to drive to the next state over that does. I would though. When I lived in Ohio I did those scratch offs. Won some dollars a few times, too! :-) My brother-in-law and his co-workers pool money and take turns driving over the state line to buy tickets. And for my grandmother’s birthday, we all pooled together to buy her $100 worth of scratch offs! LOL! She loved it! That one’s a gambler. Hee-hee! I just saw a Dr. Phil episode where winning the lottery ruined this married couple’s lives! I’m like…umm, I ain’t a believer. Let me try this one out for myself. Snicker! And too true about Bruce Wayne. He needs extra cool points for pulling off the bat suit complete with point ears and cup and still make it look sexy!

  26. What is your favorite food?

  27. Do you have any habits you always follow when you write?
I think I would go for Oliver Queen.
For movies, I would do the IN Death ones. I would be Peabody.
I am not sure. I would go for Superman.

    • Hi, Debra!
I do have a couple of habits. :-D I pray-because, let’s face it, those words and ideas have to come from somewhere! And ANY good writing day starts off with great coffee. It’s a MUST! But other than those two? I don’t really have any others. Unless you count writing to music. ‘Cause I need my playlist in order to get into the mood of the scene.

Yes, Oliver! *fist bump* I want to be Felicity in another life. Sigh. Ooooh, great choice, Debra!! Those books are awesome! I forgot all about those. I’ma have to go the expected route and be Eve. Hee-hee! Superman is ALWAYS a great pick! Especially if it’s Henry Cavill’s Superman…Whew, boy! *fanning myself* :-D

  28. How do you decide if a book is going to be a stand alone or part of a series?

    • Hey, Mary!
This is going to sound really pretentious and all artsy-fartsy, but unless my first idea about the story is a series-like the Secrets and Sins series-then the characters decide if the book will be one or one of four or five. When I’m writing, I’m focused on the hero and heroine, but sometimes there will be a secondary character that’s just so funny or charismatic or compelling they scream for their own book. It’s like I’m already excited to write their books. I warned you that was going to sound pretentious. LOL!!

  29. Are there any other genres you would be interested in writing ?

    • Y’know, Michelle, there are a couple I would be interested in writing. Like romantic comedy. I LOVE a great romantic comedy, and it takes such humor, creativity and brilliance with dialogue to pull it off. I bow down to those authors. Also, another genre I would be interested in, but just couldn’t do ’cause I’m not foolin’ myself, is historical romance. All that research and detail with setting, dialogue, clothing, events…I mean, you have to be a master at research to write historicals! And so many faaabulous authors nail it!! I bow down to them, too. I have a tendency to make up what I don’t know, soooo that would really mess with the historical factor…snicker!

  30. If you could choose any species real or imagined what would be your most wanted to be your pet/companion?

    • Hey, Emma!!
I love this question! You know what automatically comes to my mind? Remember that big-eared, flying Chinese dragon, dog-like thing in The Neverending Story? What was his name? Hold on…I’m about to Google him…Falkor! That’s his name! I would have Falkor as a pet/companion. I love that theme song, too…Neverending storrryyyyy. Aaahhh-aaahh-aaahhh…

  31. Hi Naima! If you could spend a day with any literary character, who would it be and why? What would you ask them?

    • Hi, Becky!! *waving*
Oooh, there are so many I would love to spend a day with and pick their minds. But foremost I would love to spend a day with Aslan from the Chronicles of Narnia. He is The Lion! The one who created that magical land and gave animals the power to talk. He is all-knowing and all-powerful and the epitome of sacrifice, tolerance and love. I would ask him a TON of questions, not even anything specific. Just talk to him, hear him speak and just sit down in one of those fields with the trees and their spirits and listen. Oh! Wait. I take that back. One question I would ask him is, what did you say to Edmond on top of that hill after he was rescued from the White Witch??? I’m throwing the same questions back at you. Who, why and what? :-D

      • I think I would spend the day with Galadriel from LOTR, because she is so ancient, and has experienced so much, which is conducive for giving good life advice. I would ask her about; What has motivated her to keep going after living so long? Sometimes I get bored with life, even though I haven’t lived that long, and feel like I’m wandering aimlessly; so I know she’s probably felt that way more than a time or two. :D

  32. Answers to Author’s Questions:

    1. Which millionaire does it for you: Gideon Cross, Bruce Wayne or Oliver Queen?

    Probably Gideon Cross.

    2. If you had your pick of any book being turned into a movie-with you cast in the starring role-what book would it be and what role would you play?

It’s a series instead of a single book…..Chicagoland Vampires series by Chloe Neill. I would play Merit, because she’s awesome!

    3. Who is your favorite superhero and why? Sue me. I’m on a superhero kick.

I think I would go with Thor.

    • Oh snaaaap!!! You’re the first person who picked Gideon Cross! YAAAAAHHHHSSSS!!! LOL! Another series I haven’t heard of. Shoot, I feel like I’ve been living in a black hole somewhere. I have to check out these Chicagoland Vampires. That just sounds bad ass. :-D I’m with you on Thor. Especially if he looks like a certain, HOT Australian with stunning blue eyes…sigh. Hee-hee!

  33. I’m trying to figure out someplace to go for vacation and so my question is what is your favorite vacation in the usa since I’m broke from helping pay for youngest’s college tuition.

    • Hi, Pam!!
Well this week, I’m doing a stay-cay. Y’know, staying at home for vacation and just doing lotsa reading, sleeping and vegging out on TV! Those are the best vacays EVAH! That said, I luvs me Gatlinburg and Savannah. The scenery is gorgeous-for both. The food is awesome, and there’re plenty of things to do. Especially in Gatlinburg! Right outside of it in Pigeon Forge is a main street that looks like Vegas! LOL! But the mountains and Old Gatlinburg. Beautiful. And there’s so much history in Savannah. Aaaand the best ghost tour outside of the Jack the Ripper Tour I’ve been on! Wonderful! And might I add, Gatlinburg is the friendliest of the two as far as tuition-challenged bank accounts… :-D

  34. 1. neither of them since I don’t watch anyone of them.
    2. Celestial Seasons Brianna by Judy Mays
    3. Gambit from the xmen love that accent.

    • Another book I haven’t read! Geez! I’m gonna need to widen my book list!! There are so many books that I’m missing out on. And absolutely for Gambit. That Cajun accent is yuuummmy!! And his super powers ain’t half bad either. LOL!!

  35. From any of your books, what has been one of your favorite scenes, or types of scenes, to write?

    • Hey, Lindsey!!
I think one of my favorite scenes was in Secrets and Sins: Chayot when my heroine Aslyn played the piano again for the first time since she’d been assaulted by a crazed, obsessed stalker. After being attacked, she would freeze up whenever she sat down at the piano. She couldn’t play. Which is real inconvenient considering she’s a concert pianist… :-) But that moment when the music came back to her and she could play again, and the music flowed…I loved that scene. And it was one of those scenes that just wrote itself really. Great question!

  36. Tell us 5 things we may not know about your writing life…

    • Hey, Lisa!! Five things. Ooookay. Lemme think, lemme think… Okay, here goes:

      1. I can’t write in silence. It’s SO distracting and it freaks me out. I need music or the TV on-preferably both.

      2. I write completely detailed and anal outlines before I begin a book. Like they would make Sheldon Cooper proud. :-D

      3. Sex/loves scenes are the hardest for me to write.

      4. When I”m deep in edits or near the end of writing a book, that shower might not know me for a couple of days…okay, three days…I did say might…snicker!

      5. I cry at least once while writing every book and have that Why-in-the-hell-am-I-doing-this-to-myself-I-suck moment. Swear. At least once. Probably more. :D

  37. To answer your giveaway questions:

Oliver Queen, of course! There was no other choice to make. :-)

I would play Aubrey Price in Georgina Guthrie’s WORDS trilogy.

Arrow! The Stephen Amell version, to be specific.

    • Lindseeeeeey!!! Fist AND hip bump! I mean, what’s not love to love? Hot millionaire who kicks ass in leather on the mean streets of Sterling City. Sign me up for more of that! LOL! I’ve never read the WORDS trilogy. I’m going to have sample after sample after sample on my Kindle. And I looooove it! Of course the Stephen Amell version. I mean all others pale into non-existence. ‘Cause, he’s AMELL!! Oh, that man, that man!

  38. Do you have a fave stand-alone novel?

  39. Hi, Fox!
I have several stand-alone novels! Oh man, where should I start? I hate to beat a dead horse, but Son of the Morning is number one. Once Upon a Princess by Johanna Lindsey. Honor’s Splendor by Julie Garwood. Man, this is kinda harder than I first thought because I realize that a lot of my fave books are connected in some way to a previous or subsequent book…LOL! Sneaky! Wicked Burn by Beth Kery! Oh, man, how I love that book! Great question, Fox!!

  40. would you pleases share 3 unique things about yourself — thanks

    1.Gideon Cross
    2. Outlander — Claire
    3. Wonder Woman

    • Hi, Jo Anne! *waving*
Three unique things about myself. hmm…lemme see…How ’bout….

      1. I’m an identical twin and we’re what you call mirror twins. I’m left-handed, she’s right. We have the same terrible vision, but my astigmatism is in my right eye and hers is in her left. We have had the same tooth removed a few years ago, but mine was on the right and hers was on the left. Weird. :-D

      2. I eat sugar on my hotdogs. Sugar, grilled onions and sauerkraut.

      3. I’m a PK, a pastor’s kid-which you can read on my bio. But what I don’t mention is that my pastor father insists on offering me advice-whether I want it or not, and I assure you I DO NOT!-on my love scenes in every. Single. Book. Yes, I am traumatized by the time I type The End… :-D

YES!! Another Gideon Cross-lover! Is it me, or do you just picture Henry Cavill as Gideon? Ohhhh, yeah. And they can cast Sam Heughan as Jamie, too! Hee-hee! Let’s face it…Wonder Woman kicked tail!! Did you see who they’re casting as Wonder Woman in the new Justice League movie? It’s the woman from the Fast and Furious movies. The one who died in number 5? She looks great! And the costume is cool-uuh! That’s one movie you will find me up inside the theater on day one! :-D

  41. Hi Naima,

what do you do if you get stumped while writing?

    • Hey, Dina!
When I was writing my first book and caught up in a spiral of frustration, my father gave me a wonderful piece of advice that I apply to this day, six years later. Step away from the book. I’ve tried keeping my butt in the chair and staring at the computer screen, willing the words to come. But all that accomplishes is sending my frustration levels soaring high, causing my appetite to grow exponentially (Damn Turtle Chex Mix!! *shaking fist*) and the cursor to do that nanana-boo-boo thing. Which causes the frustration to rise-just a vicious circle. LOL!! But by stepping away from the book for a couple of hours, having a cup of coffee, watching a couple hours of mindless television, reading a few chapters in a great book…I find the break clears my head, lets me decompress, and when I return to the book, I’m ready to write again. Because though I’ve stepped back and doing these other things, my mind is working out the problem in the back of my head. So ideas start to flow, and so do the words. I also will call and email my critique partners to brainstorm. They never fail to help me see new perspectives and directions that I might’ve missed. Great question, Dina! :-D

  42. Have you ever bid on (won?) a bachelor at a charity event?

    • Alas, Linda, no. Sigh. But I am on the ever elusive search for an auction to bid and win one…I mistakenly typed bed and win one before I noticed and corrected it. LOLOL!! Freudian typing slip! Snicker!

  43. .Which millionaire does it for you: Gideon Cross, Bruce Wayne or Oliver Queen?
    Bruce Wayne

would it be and what role would you play?
Any book that will transfer me to fairy land

    3. Who is your favorite superhero and why?
Batman because actually he isn’t superman just use tech to fight the bad guys.

    • Hi, Sarit!
You can’t go wrong with Bruce Wayne, and I totally agree. From a kid, he decided his path and stuck to it. Every decision and choice in his life was geared toward that goal. Even to the point of forsaking love, marriage and family. Doesn’t it make you wish you were the woman capable of convincing him to break that rigid code? I’m totally with you as far as fairy land. When my sister and I were kids, we would sit for hours and stare at the pictures in this huge book of fairy tales my mother bought us. We’d wish we could live there. :-) Yes! Batman is a great choice of superhero. Like his alter ego, he is the epitome of brain AND brawn!

  44. who is your favorite author?

  45. Hi, Thomas! *waving*
I love Nalini Singh. Like luuuuuuv. Whatever she writes-paranormal or contemporary-I just kill. She has a way with words that is amazing and brilliant. She’s a master of word choice and composition. Sigh. Can you tell I love her? LOL!!

  46. wheres your favorite place to write?

  47. Hi Naima, congrats on the new book! If you weren’t a writer, what would you be doing instead?

  48. if you could go anywhere in the world on a Vacation where would you go?

  49. Here are my answers:

    1) Hands down, no doubt about it, Oliver Queen. I’m so stoked you have him on the list! Totally a fangirl of Stephen Amell, between you and me, I totallly watch Arrow because of his abs! *sigh*

    2) This one is so tough! I’d probably go with one of my favorite series ever (Jill Shalvis’ Lucky Harbor) “Always On My Mind”. Of course I have to be the heroine Leah, not only is she a kick-butt baker, she gets to make out with hot firefighter Jack!

    3) Favorite superhero is Thor/Chris Helmworth….need I say anymore?

  50. Do you have any current favorite shows or books?

  51. 1. Which millionaire does it for you: Gideon Cross, Bruce Wayne or Oliver Queen?
Bruce Wayne hands down :) he’s just the best brooding superhero ever and it doesn’t hurt he’s a badass.

    2. If you had your pick of any book being turned into a movie-with you cast in the starring role-what book would it be and what role would you play?
If I had to I would pick Carlotta Wren from Body Movers or Pepper Martin from Don of the Dead.

    3. Who is your favorite superhero and why? Sue me. I’m on a superhero kick.
My favorite is always Batman and/or Catwoman…or Black Widow..or Captain America this is a hard question lol

  52. What things inspired you to write books ?

  53. What is the title of the most expensive book that you own?

  54. 1) Bruce Wayne

    2) Cleopatra’s Daughter by Michelle Moran and I’d play the main character. I’ve always wanted to be in a historical movie.

    3) Batman, of course:) I’m on a superhero kick too:))

  55. I love that you love SUPERHEROES & tantalizing GILLIZIONAIRES! Revenge is such a SOUL CRAVING EMOTION & one of my favorite storylines. Maybe that is why I love me some Oliver Queen because he TRIES REVENGE, but it always seem to bite minor his family in the a$$. I also.love what I call the FORBIDDEN FRUIT SYNDROME & that kinda fits into a great revenge tale. I love Shelley Laurenston’s PARANORMAL tale & the PRIDE is my favorite because PIRRING is so SEXY, so that is a movie I would love to see & RYAN REYNOLDS would make a great SMART A$$! The WOLVERINE & DEAD POOL are my favorite movie superheroes because MR. HUGO & MR. RYAN may be wearing their characters’ customs, but they ROCK their witty dialogue, cutting insults & looking great COMING & GOING! I love the UNEXPECTED, so I try to come up with a NEVER BE ASKED QUESTION for authors, so here is my question Mizz Naima!

Since you are into SUPERHEROES, what color would be your outfit, PISS YELLOW, PUKE GREEN or POOPY BROWN? But you should know that the color will hold the STINKINESS of either PISS, PUKE or POOPY. So have you ever had that question before?

  56. Congrats on the new book! I am looking forward to reading it! My question for the author, Naima Simone would be: How do you start developing the story? Like for instance, how do you get inspired for it? Do you already know how your story is going to end before you even start writing it?

  57. If Beauty and the Bachelor was made into a movie, who would you cast as Lucas and Sydney?

    • 1) Big yes to Oliver Queen!!!
      2) I’d go with Desired Untamed by Pamela Palmer with me playing Kara the Radiant because she has an ultra-important part in the plot. And this book is part of a series, so the movie would naturally have the sequels and I’d be in all of them! LOL
      3) So hard to choose one superhero but I like Thor just a little bit more than the rest.

  58. Hi Naima! If Beauty and the Bachelor was being made into a movie who would be your dream casting for Sydney and Lucas? :)

  59. To answer your questions:
