POLL DISCUSSION: Pick Your Favorite Shapeshifter Series Round TWO

Welcome to the poll of the week!! Polling runs through Sunday, May 11th. FIRST VOTE on the bottom RIGHT HAND SIDE of the site then stop here to tell us “Favorite Shapeshifter Series Round TWO and why you chose your answers.

The only VOTES that count are the ones on the actual poll not the comments! This is a special poll round for the second of three rounds. There will be 10 series for round and the final round next week to determine who is the ULTIMATE winner from the previous two weeks.

We took the READER nominations from the nomination round, verified them as shifter series, then put them into a spreadsheet, sorted alphabetically by series name and then started at the top of the list for each round.

PLEASE NOTE: We can’t add every shifter series out there or this would be the only poll we would have on the site ever again. :) There are HUNDREDS of fantastic series out there now. So, we had to cut some things out due to time and space constraints. Thank you for understanding and remember this is for FUN, it isn’t for a prize or prestige.

  1. Raonaid Luckwell

    Psy-Changeling by Nalini Singh
Sherrilyn Kenyon’s were hunters got my hunt

  2. It was hard but I finally picked 3. Good luck to all the authors!

  3. I feel so sheepish that I haven’t read any of these, though I know they all have strong followings!

  4. The Walker Papers is amazing but it doesn’t really have a lot in the way of shapeshifters, certainly not in a were-animal sense.

  5. I chose Women of the Otherworld, Shifters (Vincent) and Riley Jensen. Weird, I’ve never even heard of the series currently in the lead (Redwood.)

  6. I love the Fae Chronicles by Amelia Hutchins. The books all have the elements I look for in a book, a wonderful story line with twists and turns you don’t anticipate(always a plus for me),makes you almost feel like you are there as well. The characters bring it to life for me,with Syn,you have a sassy, snarky kick-ass Princess, and from Ryder,Adam and the guys in the Elite Guard, and the Vamps, you have a group of hot, sexy Alpha males(also a plus for me).. you have adventure and romance(always a plus).. I so can’t wait for book # 4 of this series and what it brings to the series.

  7. This is hard there are several that are at the top of my list
But I narrowed it down to 3

  8. I chose Wolf Tales by Kate Douglas because I have never read any PNR as intense, hot and intriguing as it.
I also picked Carrie Ann Ryan’s Redwood Pack series because that Jamenson family is just awesome!

  9. Colleen Everly

I vote for The Fae Chronicles by Amelia Hutchins because that series is Awesome!

  10. Nicole Perkins

REDWOOD PACK BY CARRIE ANN RYAN IS THE HOTTEST! :)

  11. I have to say that I have not read most of these so Were Hunters and Mystwalkers win almost by default BUT Mystwalkers is a pretty excellent series if I do say so.

  12. I picked the Naked Werewolf series by Molly Harper and the Werehunter series.

  13. Naked Werewolf is the only series I’ve read in this poll. I guess it’s time to work on that TBR list!

  14. I voted for the Psy-Changling series by Nalini Singh, Were Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, and Women of the Otherworld by Kelley Armstrong.

  15. I could only allowed 3 choices but I would like to give “honorable mention” to Jennifer Ashley’s “Shifters Unbound” series as well!!!! My 3 choices were: Laurann Dohner’s “New Species” series; Carrie Ann Ryan’s “Redwood Pack” series; and last but not least Sherrilyn Kenyon’s “Were-Hunters” series…

  16. Stacey A Smith

I picked 1.Wolf Tales by Kate Douglas
    2.The Pack by Karen Whiddon
    3.Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper

  17. Were Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon and the Shfters series by Rachel Vincent are my top choices

  18. The Fae Chronicles by Amelia Hutchins
The Others series by Anne Bishop
The Wild Hunt Legacy series by Cherise Sinclair

  19. I am voting for Nalini singh’s Psy Changling series and Shelly Laurensten Pack series. Love them both and they are an automatic buy for me.

  20. That was a really tough one. Lots of great series on this list. I chose Rachel Vincent’s Shifters because it’s one of my favorites and Jennifer Ashley’s Shifters Unbound because it’s one I recently got into and am enjoying.

  21. The Amoveo Legend series by Sara Humphreys
Were Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Riley Jensen series by Keri Arthur

  22. I felt kind of bad voting in this second round as I haven’t read a book from any of the series listed, but I do have a Kelley Armstrong book on my TBR pile so I voted that one.

  23. New Species series by Laurann Dohner,Stormy Weather series by Selena Blake and Tales of the Were series by Bianca D’Arc.

  24. Pride series by Shelly Laurenston, Tales of the Were by Bianca D’Arc, Tales of the Sazi by Adams & Clamp.
Haven’t read Redwood Pack series by Carrie Ann Ryan but judging by how popular they seem to be I will have to add them to my must-buy-when-the-budget-allows list.

  25. This was easy to vote for, but difficult to get to the site to vote. 4 days I tried…finally was able to vote today

  26. This was easy, Amveo Legend Series are super addictive and make for reading over and over, I have gone through and am guilty of a readathon! And then there is The Were series from Kenyon, that also begs to be read and read again!

Keepers, the both of them, you cannot go wrong with these ladies!

  27. It was really hard just to pick 3 as I have read books from all the authors but in the end I had to choose the ones that I keep going back to and re-reading
