Welcome to the poll of the week!! Polling runs through Sunday, July 20th. FIRST VOTE on the bottom RIGHT HAND SIDE of the site then stop here to tell us “Favorite Mixed Magic/Creature Series for Round THREE the Final Round“ and why you chose your answers. The only VOTES that count are the ones on the actual poll not the comments! This is a special poll round for the third and final of three rounds. There were 25 series for round one, 25 round for round two and 23 for round three this week. We will have a final round in week four to determine who is the winner from the top FIVE of rounds one through three.
We took the READER nominations from last month, verified them as mixed magic/creatures series, then put into a spreadsheet, sorted alphabetically by series name and then started at the top of the list for this round.

Hmmm…Iron Druid, Dresden Files, & Night Huntress…
The Demonica series by Larissa Ione, Women of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong, and The Night Huntress by Jeanine Frost.
I picked the Night Huntress and The Hollows series. I made notes about the other ones to add to my TBR lists. I feel like I have something in common with your subscribers - so if hey like all of these - then they are worth reading.
I picked The Hollows (one of the best series ever!) and Night Huntress. I also voted for the Sentinels of New Orleans even though truth be told, I haven’t actually started it yet. But I have been following the author’s blog and wanted to show some love. (I have the first book though, and am going to read it soon, I swear.)
So many great choices! My favorites are The Dark Series by Christine Feehan, The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, and The Hollows by Kim Harrison.
So far I am the first to pick the Necromancer series, but I am guessing because it is not a new current series but one that has been around for a while. All the choices are good, some authors are more current than others,even Ann Rice has a new series with Wolfs (not mentioned) or Christine Feehan has another series with the sisters not mentioned either. I feel that if you enjoy the story and the author anything is good . On my bucket list is to read as much as possible in any form.
I love The Belador Series by Diana Love/Sherilyn Kennyon series so that was my first choice, then The Night Huntress by Jeanine Frost last The Sentinals of New Orleans by Suzanne Johnson. The Sentinals is a great series

Hmm, I’ve not read any of the books on this poll, but I’ve heard great thing about The Chronicles of Narnia and also Jeaniene Frost, so I’d have to go with them. 🙂

I haven’t really read any since Chronicles of Narnia, and that was when I was a child…
I’m glad that at least one Anne Rice series made the list and surprised that Gail Carriger is not seeing more love, but in general, I think these polls have shown a good selection of books. I’ll have to check out some of the series that I’m not familiar with.

Gosh this was hard! Ultimately I had to go with VVInn / Grim Reality, Katie MacAllister, and The Edge. I really wanted The Hollows as my 4th and there were several more too… sigh
