Welcome to the poll of the week!! Polling runs through Sunday, January 11th. How to participate: FIRST VOTE on the bottom RIGHT HAND SIDE of the site. Next stop here to tell us which three Most Anticipated January Book Releases that you picked for Round ONE. and why you chose your answers. The only VOTES that count are the ones on the actual poll not the comments! This is a special poll round for the first of three rounds. There will be more books for round two and three. Then we will have a final round in week four to determine who is the winner from the top FIVE of rounds one through three.
PLEASE NOTE: We can’t add every January book release out there or this would be the only poll we would have on the site ever again.

Some of these authors I never read or heard of. Then there were some authors I heard of…
So I decided to vote for Sara Humprheys “UNBOUND” Alexandra Ivy “BLOOD ASSASSIN” which I should be getting for review and Kresley Cole’s Dead of Winter… I’m surprised Christine Feehan’s Viper Game is not on here…

This is round one of three and Feehan’s release is at the end of the month. I just started at the beginning of January and worked my way down.
There are LOTS more to vote for in the next two rounds. heheh

Lots of books this Jan! It may be the cold medicine- but I think most of the ones I am excited for are coming in later rounds. However, Dreamer’s Daughter by Lynn Kurland is on this list and I love me some 9 Kingdoms novels! Can’t wait for this one.
You’re missing Frost’s BOUND BY FLAMES. I also went with BLOOD ASSASSIN and DEAD OF WINTER.
Either I can’t read correctly or Burned by Karen Marie Moning is not listed??? Doesn’t this come out 1/20/15?

I voted for Marked, Golden Son, and Half-Resurrection Blues- though I fully admit it is based on reputation and my wanting to read them alone. I haven’t actually read books from any of these authors (except for one which I won’t name that I didn’t like.)
I picked the Mammoth antho, since I’ve read their other genre compilations and am curious to see what they’ll pick!
Surprised Yasmine Galenorn’s PANTHER PROWLING isn’t on the list, though it’s 27th January.
This’ll probably not count because of it though I am being 100% honest by letting you all know, but I voted for two authors I did like, the other one and the rest of the choices I have never even heard of let alone read a book of.
So my vote of the authors I have read of before was Kresley Cole Dead of Winter (Go Kresley Go!) and Amanda Hocking Frostfire. The one I have never read of but voted for because I had to do three was Sarah Fine Marked.

I voted for Blood Assassin by Alexandra Ivy, Unbound by Sara Humphreys and The Importance of Being Alice by Katie MacAlister. Blood Assassin is a reading in progress, Unbound is next in the list of my TBR pile and I only picked the Katie MacAlister book because I needed a third choice and it’s a romance book.

I picked Kresley Cole’s Dead of Winter because she ended the last one with a cliff hanger and it’s been over a year!! Loving it so far!
There are several books I too am anxiously waiting but apparently they too will be in later rounds. I did vote for Alexandra Ivy and Amber Benson as I like the titles and they sound interesting to read.
