I like to just relax and do nothing, read, and go out for dinner on my birthday.
Thanks Viki! My birthday is July 22nd so a few more days. I think I have PT and a bit of work that morning then the fun begins.
I voted for read, sleep in, and fancy dinner. I’m a stay-at-home mom to a 5 year old that makes dinner (almost) every night; I think that’s all the explanation necessary for my choices.

I chose Sleep In, Open Presents, and Other…
Although, I hardly or if ever get presents for my birthday. The only person who gets me anything is my friend Joyce. Usually money’s tight where can’t celebrate. And I do not care too much for cake. I want a cheesecake. Why the hubby gets me a cheesecake instead of cake…I don’t usually get pampered.. Since there is like nine days between my birthday and his… we tend to go take the entire family out for dinner at Golden Corral or something.

Yeah, things are tight here this year. I would love some Amazon gift cards and or a year of Kindle Unlimited. LOL Of course a fancy dinner at my fav restaurant. Which isn’t really that fancy just delish!
I would love gift cards too… but my friend Joyce scours my Amazon Wish list… LOL… She uses that for Christmas too and has me put things for the boys on there too..
I do like to read but only after I’ve had my exciting day with family and friends. Otherwise, I like to go out for breakfast/lunch or dinner, go to the movies and relax with family or friends.
I think we may go see a movie Kellie tomorrow on cheapie day. LOL Looking forward to spending the next two days celebrating!
The other option besides sleeping in and a fancy dinner, is a 2-3 hour bubble bath with candles, wine, and reading material. So relaxing!!

Hangout with family and friends, have a spa day and read….. maybe have a nice dinner with the family.
I sense reading is a theme. I kind of would like to just read for several days in a row. LOL
Mostly I laze around and read, play with the dogs, and go somewhere to eat dinner. If there is a movie that I want to see then I might go there. I no longer have living family members to share my day with, and since my birthday falls during the Xmas holidays, most of my friends are with their families.
Awe Suzanne, you need to email me near to your birthday. Maybe we can have a party here for you on the blog! Wouldn’t that be fun!!

I spent the day with my family- we cooked hotdogs & hamburgers at the pool
Got a chance to relax at the pool with the grandbabies and had a nice cold drink or three

Family is prime when it comes to birthdays…I like to spend mine with family and we all have a contest who can get the most outrageous card…that’s the best part! Better than presents!

That sounds like a fun tradition with the cards. I wish my family lived closer together. First year without my mom around. Hopefully I will hear from them. But I already have a houseful of fur kids and a fantastic hubby to spend my day with!!
Happy, happy birthday! I definitely obsess over eating cake (and usually bake my own, since I have some recipes I really love). Going out to a special dinner is always fun, and I try to take a mini-vacation to someplace I enjoy if I can!

I like a fancy dinner (really I just like try new restaurants- does not have to be super fancy!), I have no shame in admitting that I love opening presents, and I really do enjoy a nice mini-vacation. It is just fun to get away sometimes!
I read every day so on my B-day it isn’t special thing

I actually got a mini vacation this year… first time ever! just me and the hubby for 5 days, it was fantastic! We went to Naples FL and played golf on a PGA course, hit the beach, and on my birthday we made the drive to Orlando and spent the day in the Magic Kingdom! I missed being with my kids and the rest of the family but it was nice to do something different!
I love to sleep late, start reading in bed, finally dressing and moving to the couch to continue reading while someone else does all the cooking
Happy Birthday Rachel! I voted for read, sleep in, and hang out with family and friends. This way I get to spend a couple of extra in bed, get to read a good book (because who doesn’t love that), and then end it by spending the rest of my birthday with those I love and cherish the most (friends and family).
