Dorothy Dunnett’s Lymond Chronicles-there’s always something new to discover in them.
Had to think about it, but I would go with Nora Roberts’ Bride Quartet; that was my intro to her, and have been wanting to reread it since, but it just hasn’t happened yet - but on a deserted island, it certainly could! LOL
I chose ‘other;’ I think I would bring October Daye.
Saw a panel on this topic once at a convention… Ended up voting for Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series as not only was it pleasingly thick and stuffed with numerous genres, but it had some healing and herb lore which might come in useful while stranded.
I’m late to the poll but I’d pick Nalini Singh’s Archangel series.
I voted Harry Potter, because I didn’t realize there was an ‘other’ option. Ohterwise I would have picked the Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
Other - The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.
Mercedes LAckey’s Valdemar world… I could simply lose myself in that world over and over and over
Other - The Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon
I wimped out and chose I can’t choose! That’s a monumental decision!!
How about JD Robb’s In Death’s? Besides that fact they are always really visual and interesting there’s Roarke!
I really can’t choose
I’d take the BDB by J.R.Ward
1. Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon.
2. Dark Hunters Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon
3. Chicagoland Series by Chloe Neil
Harry Potter as I’m always discovering something new every time I reread it.
“In Death” by J.D. Robb, Christine Feehan ” Dark Carpathians” series. Kelsey Cole ” IAD” series
Decisions decisions: The MAGIC series by Ilona Andrews, the IN DEATH series by JD Robb, Nalini Singhs’ ARCHANGELS series, and THE OTHER series by Anne Bishop.
I picked “other,” but I’m not sure what…I know there are a ton of great m/m paranormal and UF series.
Other, of course.
Which ones? Any of those listed below (not in any particular order).
Dark Hunter - Kenyon
Argeneau - Sands
Chicagoland Vampires - Neill
Mercy Thompson - Briggs
Kate Daniels - Ilona Andrews
Parasol Protectorate - Carriger
All Souls Trilogy - Harkness
Faith Hunter’s series or Chicago Land -Chloe Neil
IAD series, Kresley Cole
I would want Anita Blake series. I have been reading them for years. I have her new one just haven’t got to it yet.
I chose Other because I would want to have Laura Kaye’s HEARTS OF THE ANEMOI series with me. Although, when I was younger, there would have been no other choice to make than the TWILIGHT series. I’ve read those books, especially book one, more times than I can count.
That is too hard because there are so many AMAZING romance series.
Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake & Meredith Gentry series…
I would want the series “Thirst” by Christopher Pike. The best series I have read in a long time. Five books total but well worth the read.
Easy choice for me - Harry Potter series.
Nalini Singh’s Psy/Changeling series, Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series, Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld series, Eve Nameson’s Ilyrian Destiny series… Too many to choose!
If I had to choose from the option on the right I’m going with Harry Potter, however my other option would be The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward.
If I had to pick it would have to be Harry Potter, I can read that over and over again and never get bored…but if i could pick the other option theres way too many romantic suspense series to chose from lol
I couldn’t choose. Reading through everyone’s posts there is a few more series I plan to check out now. Thanks!
out of those I’d pick Harry Potter since I loved them and there are many. But if I really had to choose only one I’d pick something with lots of book I’ve not read like. JD Robb of which I’ve read a couple. Would need something to occupy my time.
I would choose other = the Dark Series it’s a long and great series
I couldn’t chose just 1 series. There are so many I love. These are the top ones.
Anything by Shelly Laurenston/G A Aiken
Jane Yellowrock series
Kate Daniels series
