I live in a very small town so hard to get a book club going for the types of books I read. I’d be interested in one at BBB.
I just voted for no. I might want to someday, but even if I wanted to right now I don’t have the time. And since I don’t get nearly as much time to read as I used to I don’t want my book choices being dictated by other people (or feel pressure to finish a book by a certain date-unless it’s due back to the library.)
I know I don’t really have time to do it either. In theory I would love to.

No, I belong to no book club nor do I wish to because I read by mood. When I finished a book, the next one depends on my mood, not someone’s schedule.
If I’ve read a/the book, I am more than happy to add my two cents worth!
My situation is the same as Lisa’s. I live in a very small town and there are no book clubs but I do belong to a couple online.
I belong to a book club that meets in person, but we don’t all read the same books. We just talk books (and other stuff). And we also go to book signing events together. I don’t think you have to have an assigned book to read to have an effective book club. Just love to read and share books.
I would love to belong to a real life book club, but I live in a very small town, so that’s not possible. I do belong to an online book club, but it’s not very active. I’d love for BBB to have a book club
No, and I’m not interested. Even if I were, I’d have trouble finding people around here who read English, as I live in a non English speaking country.
No, because I like to read what I want when I want, not what someone tells me I have to read. And sometimes I read fast (2-3 books per week) and sometimes I read slow (1 book fortnightly or monthly or longer) so I would either forget what the book chosen for the month was or not finished it.

I am a shut in so I am lucky if I know anyone around me that likes to read or are into the similar genres and authors I am into. And with writing and reviewing, I am not sure how I would find time to participate. Plus, I doubt authors or books I’m interested in would ever make the cut.
nope, never belonged to one. An online one might not be bad, but I have a lot going on in my life right now, especially with a sick doggie, and I can barely find the time to do what I have to do, let alone what I would like to do!!

I would enjoy being in a book club but there seems to be none with books that I prefer, such as fantasy and urban paranormal.
No because not only are there none in my area, most online clubs deal with books I’m not interested in reading. I’m more of a fan of urban paranormal, sci-fi, or fantasy but I guess there many readers like me out in the ether.

The closest thing I’ve ever had to a book club that met in real life was my college lit classes. I do have some people that occasionally read the same stuff I do and we discuss books but it isn’t the same as a book club…
It is hard to get everyone together for an actual face to face book club but we get together online.

Had to vote no know I no reads Paranormal Romance and even if they did the would not read as fast as me.only takes me a day or two to read a book.
