Jean-Claude, Jean-Claude, Jean-Claude… for me there was no other choice. Laurell makes him real for me. I have loved him from the very first book and can’t wait to get more of him.
Eric vs Bones? They’re so evenly matched! Powerful…demanding…hot as hell…Bones won out simply because of his British accent. Okay, and he treats Cat a little better than Eric treats Sookie. But still!
That choice was hard! Pun intended : )
I vote for Anne Rice`s Lestat by far he is the most complex and interesting character that I have found ever. He is very special to me.

Boy, you couldn’t go wrong with any of these “bad” boys! I was torn between Curran, Eric and Bones, but I have to say my heart belongs to Curran. He has a nice balance of “bad” boy shifter attitude and really caring for Kate without her truly knowing it. Plus, his human and shifter forms are incredible!!!!!!

I hated to choose, but I voted for JR Ward’s V. It was very close between V and Acheron. You know they have a lot in common.
I voted for Dimitri. Even though he’s a character in a YA novel… he’s in his 20′s & he is so DAMN SEXY!
Dimitri by Richelle Mead gets my vote, no question. Though I really do love Curran too. But Dimitri gets my vote because he’s not arrogant, but he’s very tough, confindent and caring too. Curran can occationally rub me the wrong way.
Oh wow what a difficult decision. I’ll have to go with Jean Claude whom I’ve lusted after the longest. However Acheron and Eric are very close.

oh come on! you can’t put both styx and acheron in the same poll… how will i ever decide??? well, acheron it is, but only because sherrilyn kenyon is such a great writer that she could break my heart countless times with his story and i still loved the man he turned out to be and want to learn more about him. but don’t get me wrong, alexandra ivy is my absolute favorite writer and anyone who hasn’t read her work is missing out, especially when it comes to styx’s story.

It was so, so hard for me to choose between Eric and Lestat! In the end, though, I had to go with Eric since he is my favorite in his series and Lestat isn’t my favorite VC… now if it was between MARIUS and Eric, Marius would win hands down.

Since I’ve only read about Bones and Curran, that narrowed down the list considerably! (Well, I read Anne Rice too, but that was so long ago that Lestat is a bit fuzzy in my memory.)

Ooohh, this is a very difficult choice!! I am very torn between Acheron and Vishous. V is very hot and gives orders rather well, however Ash quite talented in many many ways!! lol So Ash’s “do-me” aura wins hands down for me.
I absolutely LOOOOOOVE Styx, he is sexy caring but also a leader and an inspiration for his people. Being the Anasso isn’t easy but he makes it look effortless and the way he loves Darcy!!! OMG Every girl should be so lucky!!! Alexandra Ivy writes characters that you fall in love with!!

Back again forgot to say why I chose Lestat because there is just something timeless and mysterious about him and indefinable something.
Lestat of course- although Jean-Claude comes a close second. Lestat is the original one who made vamps sexy. Before he came along vamps were one dimensional portrayed as evil and ugly. Lestat changed that.

Hands down, it’s Charlaine Harris’s Eric. He’s the muse for my vampire, Luciano, in Fang Shui. But I digresss. The reason I love Eric (and he’s a much deeper character in the books than in the HBO series, despite Alexander Skarsgard’s virtuosity), is that aside from him being six-feet-four inches of Viking pump and grind, he’s thoughtful and kind to Sookie in ways that Bill never is. He spent a small fortune to re-gravel her driveway as a gift in the third book, and he’s a downright adorable amnesiac in book four. As I said, I appreciate Alexander Skarsgard’s portrayal in the series, but the REAL Eric, the sexy, to-die-for Eric, is in Charlaine’s books.
Honestly, I have to say its Ivy from Kim Harrison’s Hollows series.
However, I voted for Jean Claude, he is just smooth and sexy.

I would have to say that I am going with Dmitri. I have read thousands of books in my life & so far he has by far touched me emotionally. And it doesnt hurt that he is beautiful inside & out. I tell you what it’s going to be difficult to cast that character if/when you ever make a movie or tv serious out of VA.

Dimitri is definitely #1- he has been sexy in all three VA books so far (especially the first one when he’s under the lust charm with Rose- yum!). Eric is my #2, he was extremely sexy in the 4th book with no memory and his sexiest in the latest book!
Curran, definitely, but then I’m a cat person. He’s sexy as hell, even if he is a smug bastard. Bones is a close second.
Styx by far is the sexiest! 1 500 year old Aztec prince with a killer body and a gorgeous face, what’s not to like? Alexandra Ivy’s Guardians of Eternity series is so seriously underrated. I wish the word would get out there more. Start with Dante story, then Viper’s and work up to Styx and Ceasar and you will see what I mean. Jagr’s story comes out in December. Try her Darkness/Guardians series and I think you will agree she’s a fantastic writer and Styx is HOT!
Oh this is so hard for me. It’s like asking which flavor of ice cream you want to eat for the rest of your life! Um, all of them? If I *have* to decide, it would be between Eric and Bones, because I love blonde bad boy vampires. Wow, wouldn’t that be a fight to see? Throw in some mud wrestling and I would give a limb to be in that audience.

Dimitri cause he is drop dead sexy. His Russian accent speaks to you and makes you melt. His rockin body…. not to mention that long hair! Richelle created the sexiest man alive…. even though he is fictional.
Then there’s the fact that dimitri is also sexy on the inside(if that makes sense). Every girl wants a man that cares for her and will take care, and be there for her. He stands up for her. I love him and he’s the sexiest guy. No doubt.

I know this may sound old skool but I think Henry Fitzroy (Tanya Huff) needs to be added too. Of those listed only a few I’m familiar with (don’t get mad, I’m busy working on my own stories and hopefully someday to get published). Okay, Eric is hot, Lestat is, well, I’m not so sure and Jean-Claude is a little to French for my liking. Give me a Scottish vamp anyday. I do like some of Laurell K. Hamilton’s other vampires though.

My vote would definitely have to go to Dimitri. I’ve always loved accents…and well although I’ve not heard his…I can imagine it is just as smexy as the rest of him.

I’ve only recently discovered the Vampire Academy books, as well as this site…but I have found myself completely drawn into the books. Frostbite had me so drawn in that it only took two days to read all of it. I had so much difficulty in putting these books down and look forward to reading more about Rose and Dimitri. Two thumbs up to you Richelle Mead…you have captivated and held the attention of many readers here…including me. Very few books hold my attention like this…one being Memnoch the Devil by Anne McCaffrey…and also The Wheel Of Time series by Robert Jordan. But those were the “ONLY” ones until I had stumbled upon your books. Thank you!

I am completely on the Eric train right now, having just re-read the series and True Blood re-starting with the impossibly sexy Viking god Alexander Skarsgard.
However…this poll is just torturous. Vishous is just over the top sexy and my ultimate fictional man. I love all the Black Dagger Brothers… and maybe if any other BDB was listed I perhaps could not have voted against Eric….but when its Vishous…can’t do it…Vishous is definitely the sexiest…hands down!!
