Welcome to our bi-monthly feature with Jay Scott of Great Scott Audio Productions. Jay will be reading from Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. Halfway to the Grave is book one in the Night Huntress series. Click here to hear Jay’s reading if you can’t see the video displayed above.About Halfway to the Grave:
“Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father—the one responsible for ruining her mother’s life. Then she’s captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unholy partnership.
In exchange for finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. She’s amazed she doesn’t end up as his dinner—are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half-dead doesn’t have to be all bad. But before she can enjoy her newfound status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side . . . and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.”

I still haven’t read any Frost, though I obviously need to change that after hearing Jay’s praise!
I read about half this series a while back. I think it’s time to see if my local library has the rest of the series now.
wow
One of my fav series
I loved Cat and Bones. I’m trying to read her new YA but I’m not happy with it - too much religion and guess work.
I recently started reading this series, because I heard so many good things about it. I’m really enjoying it.
Loved this series seriously. Need to read the last book.
