Almost as good as FREE read today from authors Lisa Fender and Toni Burns! You can grab a copy of their book Fated from Amazon by clicking here for ONLY .99 cents. Fated is book one in the Djenrye Chronicles. Fated is a compendium novel to Fable, Book 1 of The Lorn Prophecy Series. Fated is the continuing story of the prologue in Fable; or, if you rather, a prequel story. It is not the second book in The Lorn Prophecy Series. It is the authors’ (and other readers’) recommendation that Fable be read first and Fated second to ensure the greatest enjoyment of both stories. AND be sure to enter their contest for a $25.00 Amazon gift card using the Giveaway Tools widget at the end of the post. About Fated:
“Fated carries the reader into Djenrye—a world parallel to our own. A dimension that is pristine and untouched by industry or pollution. Yet, despite all its beauty, Djenrye is in turmoil.
Phraile Highlae, the home of our heroine, Carlynn, is brutally attacked by a faction known as the Rebellion. She and her husband, Raynok—the city’s Guardian—are forced to flee for their lives and the life of their unborn child.
The rebellious faction is led by Dekren, who seeks to control both Djenrye and the parallel world, Terra-hun. To do so, he requires the blood and power of a Guardian to be drained into Ty Ortehlae—the five Orbs which hold the balance of the earth. When Dekren’s soldiers kill Raynok in a vicious attack, the last Guardian becomes…the child of Raynok and Carlynn.
There is turmoil within Dekren’s ranks, as well. His Second in Command, Torren (whose name you should know from Fable), is planning a coup of his own. If he succeeds, he will take command of the Rebellion and, with any luck, Djenrye and Terra-hun.
With the aid of a Master Warrior, Ghorgon, Carlynn must escape the Rebels and overcome the dangers of the wilderness to find a safe haven for her infant. She is driven to the edge of her strength, willpower, and willingness to do whatever it takes to protect her child and prevent the destruction of both dimensions.”

It sounds like a great book! Love the cover!
Thanks Laura! I hope you download yourself a copy! Fable should be read first so as not to ruin some of the surprise but Fated can stand alone.

Fated sounds great! I’ll have to check it out.
I sure hope you do!
It sounds good. I haven’t read yet.
Let me know when you do how you liked it!
Gorgeous cover, and ever since reading Philip Pullman so many years ago, I do enjoy a good parallel universe story.
Wonderful! It is, however, the best if you read Fable first, but Fated can stand alone. If you give them a read let me know what you thought!
I am very interested in reading both Fable and Fated. I have bought Fated and will be reading it within the next few days. I know it says to read them in order but I don’t have the money for Fabled at this time, so it will have wait. Thank you for the giveaway and turning me on to yet another series to read.
Thanks Cat for buying Fated! I understand the money issue! When you do download Fable I hope you enjoy it too! Please let me know what you think of both of them!

It sounds intense but engaging!
We tried to make it engaging. I hope you download and let me know if you liked it!
Once I see the characters have ‘fantasy nerd’ names (I mean that as a compliment; they are far more poetic than ‘normal’ names) I know it is something I could be into.
Well I think you’ll love our series then, we have plenty of ‘fantasy nerd’ names!
I haven’t read it yet, but I like fantasy, so I might check it out.
I hope you do! Please let us know what you thought! Thanks so much for your comment!

I’m looking forward to hearing if you liked it!
I haven’t read Fated yet, but it really sounds like something that I would enjoy.
Have you read Fable? If you have and you enjoyed, you will like Fated
I haven’t read Fable, looks interesting as does Fated
I hope you read them both!
I have actually never heard of it.
That’s because they’re new. Fable has only been out a little over a year and Fated came out in January.
i haven’t read them, but i want to! they sound good!
You should! I think you will like them!
The book sounds great, however I am not a huge fan of the cover.
Really?! You’re the first person to say that. It’s the symbol for Phraile Highlae, one of the cities in Djenrye.
Hi Natalie - I, too, was surprised that you didn’t like the cover. Would you mind leaving a comment as to why? We love to hear what our fans think.
I don’t mean to be mean, I just don’t particularly like the color scheme. However, you should never judge a book by its cover
The story sounds interesting though
LOL! No offense was taken at all. I was just curious what it was that did not appeal to you. We really do listen to our fans and appreciate all kinds of input! We hope you decide to look pass the cover.
No I have not read your book but I am looking forward too
Glad to hear that Niki! We hope you enjoy it. Let us know what you think. Thanks for your support!
I haven’t read it yet. I do like a good deal of war
The series is building up to war. Right now, they have attacks but not war yet.
I haven’t had the chance to read it yet, but it sounds interesting.
Looking forward to hearing what you think after you’ve had a chance to read it!
Fated sounds like an edge-of-your-seat kind of book. I would like to read it. I haven’t read Fable yet.
Fable is the edge of your seat too, but it does start out a little slow than most are used too. It picks up a lot around chapter 5 and then holds onto you! You should check them both out!
I think it sounds interesting but, I’m not sure if I should read the companion book first.
Although Fated can stand alone, it really is best to read Fable first. But it can be read in the other order. You should grab both and if you do let me know if you liked them!
Fated sounds very interesting.
Hi Judith - I hope you give it a read. The Lorn Prophecy series is an epic fantasy, the first book of which (Fable) is predominantly urban fantasy. Fated is a companion novel that leans more toward classic fantasy. It is a great stand-alone book, but also gives deeper insight into the life and adventures of Stevie Barrett, the heroine of The Lorn Prophecy series. Let us know what you think after you’ve read the books! Now is a great time to download Fated! :0)
I would love to read Fated, it sounds very interesting.
Hi Karen, Now is a great time to give it a read at a 99 cent download! Let us know what you think. We love hearing from our readers!
I have put this on my reading list for summer.

Haven’t had a chance to read yet but I am super excited!
I’m glad you’re excited! We are just as excited to find out what you thought!
I haven’t read it yet but I can’t wait!
Let us know if you liked it!
I haven’t read it but would like to.
I sure hope you do Stephanie!
sounds like a fun one!
Fable I would consider fun, this one is a little darker, but good!
I have not read it yet but I am putting it on my reading list!
Wonderful! thanks Brynn!
no i havent read it yet at all
If you can, read Fable first. You will enjoy them better, not that Fated can’t stand alone.
I’ve just started delving into this genre and to be honest, I am loving it! These 2 books look great to read. It looks like they will both take me away to a new and different time and place!
They will Janice! Fable is a mixture of Urban and epic fantasy as Stevie goes on her journey. Fated is all epic fantasy and is in Stevie’s past. I think you will like them! Plus they are a series so there’s more to come!
I will definitely have to check them out. My to-read list is huge - LOL But I make sure to take some time each day for a little vacation.
I haven’t read it but it looks interesting
I hope you take a chance on our books! I think you’ll like them!
It sounds really good, I’d like to read it
I hope you do!

Thanks Linda! We wanted to get Fated out more to people that’s why we did a sale. When you’re a new author there is a lot of competition out there so you need to get in the spot light!
The book sounds very interesting, but I think I would want to read Fable first.
you should Lorayne. I think you would like them both though.
I have not read it yet but it looks great.

I have not read either book but they sound interesting like something my daughter would like to read.
I haven’t had the chance to read it yet, but it sounds interesting
i am excited to read this. it sounds fascinating.
Interesting… I have yet to read either book but am certainly looking forward to them now.
I haven’t read neither Fated nor Fable but they sound interesting. And I like the covers. Thanks for the giveaway, by the way!
I have found myself gravitating more and more to ready fantasy. Fated will take me in a different direction. I look forward to reading it.
sound good from what I see of it up there.
I’ve never read any true fantasy, but the idea of a world with no industry is interesting. I’d love the thought of nature untouched, but not sure what I’d do without my couch and TV.
How many years do you have written books?
I want to read this book,it’s a very nice and interesting book and i will buy it soon
I have yet another book to add to my TBR list - Thanks!
I like the cover and am envious of their perfect smooth skin. LOL
Would like to read it
I am fascinated with the idea of parallel worlds/dimensions and think this sounds like a great story!

I have not read yet.
I haven’t read Fable yet, but both it and Fated sound like good reads!
I haven’t read either one yet but I want to.
Haven’t heard of this author before, but the books sound intriguing.
It sounds like an interesting book. I haven’t read Fable.
I don’t know what to think about it. I haven’t read it. Haven’t read the other one either.
haven’t read it.
Looks interesting. Have not read any others by the author.
Thanks for the contest.
