On the run after her disastrous wedding, Jane Boyle Doran is doing her best to hide in plain sight, right under her mother-in-law’s nose, in the middle of Manhattan. Short, blonde Jane suddenly morphs into tall, dark, and beautiful Ella, develops a new persona to go with the appearance, and sets out to work her way into the family’s attentions. However, she has only thirty days to accomplish everything she needs to before she turns back into Jane.
After meeting Jane and the Doran family in 666 Park Avenue, I was curious about how Jane had fared once the wedding was over. The Dark Glamour answered all my questions, and was a thoroughly enjoyable read, besides. I loved Jane’s courage in going ahead with the totally changed appearance spell, and liked the way she managed to have a little (okay, a lot) of fun along the way. I can hardly wait for the next book in this series to be released.
