A bit darker than Deathwatch, Deathscape is still a good read. Set in the now familiar town of Broslin Creek, it follows the journey of Ashley and Jack. Kicking off with a bang, this book keeps you involved every step of the way. Although short, there is a good bit of information that is given in such a way as to build the story and characters, not just as information. Having seen an assassin’s face, Kate’s life is in jeopardy until he is caught. Can she trust someone else to help her again? She believed others could help once before only to be proved wrong.
