This Haunted World #2 by Mark Powers

This Haunted World #2 opens up with Daniel trying to get to Hiroshima. He is willing to do whatever it takes, including getting help from a friend who betrayed him long ago. The world is dark and foreboding. Our characters are violent and almost ghosts themselves. The Senator is working with Corporal Nunez and they are trying to piece together what happened, the ghost army looms and darkness seems to spread wider.

This comic is weird, awesome and violent. The artwork is so dark but has a gorgeous feel to it, even with the twisted monsters and blood. The story is dark and the characters are twisted. The artwork, though, is what really brings Mark Powers’ story to life. The art twists around you, grabs you and throttles you, never letting go. If you like dark, almost gothic and bloody characters then read this. The images will be burned on the back of your mind long after you finish the comic.
