Author Bio:

I’ve been telling stories since before I could write. My earliest written efforts were disastrous. If asked for a story about girls and dolls, mine would invariably feature undead girls and evil dolls, much to my teachers’ dismay. All efforts to make me produce “normal” stories failed. Today, I continue to spin tales of ghosts and demons and werewolves, while safely locked away in my basement writing dungeon.

  1. I love the Otherworld series!! Just started the Darkness rising series.Wondering if the worlds will merge together?

    • Well, all the series are wrapped up, so I’d say they probably won’t merge…but, Kelley did say she’s not sick of writing in the world of the Otherworld, so maybe there will be short stories in the future where that happens! We’ll have to wait and see. :)

  2. BITTEN was my first PNR many years ago now ;). Elena was amazing. I felt connected to her in many ways.
I grew up in Western NY with more than 1/2 my family being Canadians so I just loved how you were able to focus on surroundings with clarity. Did you spend time in NY to be able to write with such knowledge?
I’m glad you enjoy writing Eve since she’s so different from you. I love her because she is so in your face :).
    Thank you so much :).

  3. Margaret Arsenault

Love Kelley Armstrong books. listening to the podcast and loving it :D

  4. Great interview/chat Sandra – was smiling the whole way through, and actually laughing along with both of you when you both laughed lots!! Am interested to know what you’re reading right now (apart from Lolcatz of course)? And is it likely Sandra and Kelley will feature in another anthology together anytime soon? (Sandra’s contribution in “Evolve” is short but very awesome!)

    • Hi Jenni! Thanks for listening. (miss you tons!!)

I just finished reading Kenneth Oppel’s second Victor Frankenstein novel, Such Wicked Intent. After that, I decided to pick up another Charlaine Harris novel and have just started it.

Kelley and I are also in the follow up to Evolve, Vampires of the Future Undead. I would LOVE to be some more anthos with her, though! ;)

      • Miss you too – was great hearing your voice! Surprisingly enough I already have Evolve 2 :-D Only ereader for now but will def get paperback when richer – the covers for both are lovely, so need the set on my shelves, and will always need that “new book” smell to experience – is part of the excitement of getting a book IMO.

  5. I just love your books Kelley. If you could be a character in one of your books, which one would you be? Why?

  6. I love the Otherworld series.

  7. Do you think you would ever write a Cassandra novella since she didn’t get a full length novel?

  10. Is there a new supernatural being crawling around your mind begging for a book?

  11. Love your books (Otherworld and Darkness series)! Has the Otherworld series expanded as you envisioned or has most of it occurred as you write each book?

  12. I have herd that the bitten series was to be a movie is that so?

  13. What book are you are looking forward to the most in 2013?

  14. Love the Women of the Otherworld series! I was wondering though why the mass market paperbacks changed about half to two thirds of the way into the series from the smaller $7.99 style to the bigger $8.99-$9.99 style?

  15. What was your favorite childhood book?

  16. Have you ever written fan fiction? For what fandom?

  20. The podcast wouldn’t work for me, more’s the pity. Of course I’m late to the party, maybe thats why. But I will say that I love all of Armstrong’s books. I have listened to most of them on audio, those are a real treat!
