Saving Face by J.E. Taylor

Saving FaceI have been with Steve Williams since the beginning and I have grown to love this series. The first book, Dark Reckoning, did not agree with me, but Georgia Reign and Crystal Illusions were a treat to read. I found Saving Face even better, and I love the way Taylor chooses to focus more on the people and inter-connected relationships rather than solely on the violence.

Steve Williams and his partner are always a step behind the Windwalker serial killer, then his son is found at the scene of a gruesome crime that the Windwalker committed, Steve will have to prove his son’s innocence and find the crazed murderer before his world falls apart.

Saving Face has a bit of a different feel to it than the other Steve Williams books, and I like where the story is going. Taylor has grown as an author, and the series is just getting stronger. Steve and his family will have to pull together, and though the book ends nicely, I think that CJ will be the cause of another installment. If you like murder, mystery, violence and the touch of the paranormal, check out J.E. Taylor.
