Claimed by Renee George

Claimed (The Cull) by Renee GeorgeAnna Davis has accepted that cancer will take her life. Her only regret is that she will not see her son, Sam, grow. So when she wakes, feeling and looking better than she has in years, Anna is not sure what to make of it–until she sees Connor Evans.

Conner has loved Anna from the moment he met her and was devastated when she would not leave her unhappy marriage. In all the years since he had last seen her, no other woman has touched him like Anna. When he found out about her cancer, he did all he could to cure her–in fact he could have cured her, because he is a werewolf and if Anna consented to being culled (picked to become a werewolf) the cancer would disappear. He never thought she would say no. Conner has one chance to make Anna see that she is meant to be a werewolf–his werewolf mate.

This quick and dirty erotic short from Renee George hits all the right spots. The action is hot and George manages to build the main characters up over very few pages. There is a nice little narrative arc and a decent glimpse at the greater werewolf world. This is a pretty standard erotica, except for one particular scene where there is a partial shift, so if you are leery of that this might not be the right read for you. Otherwise, Claimed is a swift, entertaining, and very naughty little read.

About KristinD

Kristin is loving wife and doggie mom with a serious book addiction. When she is not in the kitchen whipping up a tasty confection (or cocktail) she can usually be found on the couch with her nose in a book. And she really did not hear what her husband just said to her, never mind that she responded… he should know better, she was reading. Her favorite books to read feature vampires, fae, & Gods of any pantheon (oh my!) but she has been known to pick up some pretty heavy philosophical tomes, funny memoirs, and scientific gobblygook. She also has a soft spot in her heart for good high fantasy. She fell in love with Anne Rice at far to young of an age and still has not found her way to NOLA! Kristin also spends time as a foster mom for a herding breed dog rescue in Illinois, indulging her husbands’ “silly” hobby of import/vintage video gaming, and spending as much time as she can with various members of her ridiculously large family. Somehow she manages to work full time in insurance sales but would much rather be having a kitchen dance party.
