Bloodsong by Eden Bradley

The city of London in 2069 has many vices available to those who seek it; the most exclusive place to indulge and the most extreme is that of the Midnight Playground, a haven for vampires who like to indulge in their blood play and for the humans who wait for admittance in hopes that they would be chosen for the Seeking Kiss and, for the very few, the Turning Kiss.

Meeraj had waited a year to be given the permission to walk through the doors of the elusive and exclusive BDSM club. Losing everyone that she had ever loved, there was nothing left within her to give. The high of being a submissive and giving herself over to the power of a whip wielding vampire was her last hope for something to excite her and give meaning to her life. Walking up to the vampire that pulled her attention from across the room took nerves of steal, but the fire blazing in his eyes captivated her like no other had ever done before.

Aleron was quite content with his life and the male companions that submitted to his attentions. He had been with women before, including the sinfully sexy Nissa for whom he had released his last companion, Hex, but the exotic human who held his eye was very tempting indeed, quite possibly even more so than the sexy highlander currently under his attention on ST. Andrew’s cross. When she walked directly to him and sat down to watch him lavish his attentions on Calum, something within her called to him like no other had in 100 years, and called like no human should be able to…called with his Bloodsong.

The two are drawn to each other, accepting the pleasure each receives while indulging in their bondage and blood play, but for Aleron it is too much too fast and he calls in another to help with her tutelage when he finds it harder and harder to resist her. Ever, the current man in charge at the Playground, is everything a sinfully sexy 1000 year old vampire should be: ethereal, perfect and, when the trio begin to explore each other, suddenly a threat to Aleron when he wants to taste Meeraj for himself. Accepting that there is more of a connection with her than he had had with any other woman in 100 years, Aleron chooses his path, but will it be an eternity with the woman he loves or a repeat of the loss he had lived through all those years ago?

Erotic and sinfully exciting bed play abounds in this second tale of the vampires partaking in their pleasures within the walls of the Midnight Playground. The two main characters are sizzling as they investigate their feelings for each other while indulging in some strenuous BDSM play, making the story even more enticing and invigorating. Bloodsong surpasses the previous Midnight Playground offering and gives me hope that there will be a happy ending in the near future for Ever.
