Best of Intentions by Michelle Cary

Devin rarely ignores his visions, but this time he did since sometimes they are wrong. When he wakes up in the hospital, he wishes he would have said something. However, the accident has returned him to his hometown and reunited him with Tess who had been left behind when he pursued his career as a rock star. Now he has to convince her that this time she is going to come first.

When Devin’s accident occurs, Tess is aware of an undercover investigation going on at the hospital spearheaded by her ex-husband. Because of the connection between them, Tess begins having visions of the murderer. When she discovers who the murderer is, she puts her life in danger. Will Devin be able to save her?

I give this book 4 1/2 tombstones. It had a very interesting plotline. I really liked the idea that Devin remains down to earth and is willing to walk away from his celebrity status in order to pick up where he left off with Tess. I cannot blame Tess for being skeptical after he walked away from her the first time. The connection between them is fascinating, as well.

I really enjoyed Best Of Intentions. Michelle Cary has written a fascinating, suspense-filled paranormal romance/mystery. The reader is kept on the edge of their seat as the story unfolds. The book has a few unexpected twists and turns. I enjoy a good mystery and this one has the mystery aspect as well as the paranormal aspect thrown in with Devin’s psychic power. If you like mysteries, you’ll enjoy Best of Intentions by Michelle Cary.
