Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth has had to deal with many things in her young life, but on the day of her coronation, she comes face to face with something that no one would ever believe possible. The “Virgin Queen” has more than the Tudor blood of her father in her veins; she draws breath because her mother is a descendant of Morgaine, lover of King Arthurs’ son Mordred, the bastard son who killed his own father. Asrial might have been born of the House of Dilaryn but the princess no longer was considered royalty even to herself. She was a rim rat, scavenging from abandoned planets in hopes to survive on her own piloting her own starship, The Castel. Finding such a cache of relics on the remote planet was going to retrofit the ship and give her only living family extra income as well. The man she found beside her bed was not a pleasure bod or an escaped grounder who somehow got past the ships security; in fact, he didn’t even show up on the scans as being on The Castel.

Romir Gadana had no idea how long he had been in his prison before being called forth by his new master. The “ship” she had brought him to was nothing like he had ever seen or imagined. (more…)

Edward Brady, inventor of steam-powered sex toys and lately of a massive sex machine recently on exhibition at the Las Vegas Adult Toy Convention, had definitely been working too hard lately. Wishing he could take the time away from tinkering with his latest invention, a train that took its rider through a series of stops, pleasuring her with its steam-powered toys along the way, his imagination and desire for a woman of his own can be the only reason for him seeing a beautiful woman coasting along and feeling the pleasure at each station.

Lenobia had heard about Brian Langford, or rather Dragon, before she had even met him. The young professor of spells and rituals had been approached by no less than 15 fledglings hoping she could cast a love spell to ensnare the new Sword Master. A spell she would use, but not a love spell; she would cast one that would show him as he truly was. But she never expected the outcome of her power to show her the destiny that they would share together.

Chana Rafiz was pissed. She was sick of having to give up her dreams because a man her mother had only been married to for two years thought she was his property. George needed her to act as his hostess, to wine and dine the injured footballer from the team he had recently bought and because he had given her so much over the years since her mother died she really could not say no to him. With her diabetes she needed to have someone to fall back on if things did not work out. George had always been there for her, so how could she not agree to his request?

Audio Review: Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon

I know every fan of Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunters series has read Acheron. It is one of the most emotional romance books that I have ever read. With that said, it is not just a romance. It is a gut-wrenching Greek Tragedy. It is a paranormal romance that will tear you apart and then many, many pages later allow you to pull yourself together. And it is the most pivotal book I have read in this or pretty much any series. You cannot read Acheron without a tear or several rolling down your cheek. You cannot listen to Holter Graham’s voice as he brings this story to life without bawling your eyes out and curling up in a ball trying to keep yourself from feeling Ash’s pain.
