Donna Vega is a twice divorced, twice scorned social worker and CEO of Safe Haven, a domestic abuse shelter. She sees the heartache that men can create for women and will not allow herself to be in that position ever again. She is in control and no one is going to take down her defenses.

Russ Merrick is a rugged, strapping, strong-willed architectural landscaper. He is overprotective and domineering, the latter of which has created much sadness in his life. He needs a soul mate who can enjoy and fulfill his desires; this cannot be done by just any one person.

Dr. Chase Novak is a gentle, tender, but very sensual Emergency Room doctor. He has always been a spiritual healer. The connection he feels with Donna was instant completeness. He knows she is his spiritual soul mate.

Donna’s sister, Angela, loves to play matchmaker. She is determined to find Donna’s soul mate. The Wiccan powers she possess assists with her unique abilities and visions. Angela was quite surprised when she found Donna’s soul mate. She just never dreamed there would be two men. Now what?

Gracie McKeever’s novel Sexual Healing for Three is a masterpiece. The novel is wonderfully written. The reader is captured right from the beginning. The excitement maintains until the very end. The author makes you feel the emotions these characters experience. There are so many concepts and emotions cleverly laced together throughout the story. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and look forward to reading more pieces from this author.

Samantha Taylor is murdered by her husband, Dawson Foster, after he pushes her down the stairs. Fate conspires to use Sam to help out in others’ lives. Dara Kelly is a bounty hunter. When a job goes south, she finds herself hanging outside her body and trying to help the intruder who moved in and took over her life. She has problems with commitment and wants to be independent, much to her boyfriend’s, Caution Foster’s, dismay. When he tries to get her to settle down, she disappears from his life for weeks. Little does he know that the woman who comes back to him is not the same woman. In the meantime, Dara and Sam are working to find out who is behind the attacks on Dara since she has issues with a fellow bounty hunter. When the attacks hit close to home, they will do anything to keep Caution and his family safe. Will they be able to stop the attacker in time?

I give this book 4 1/2 tombstones. I really enjoyed the twist on the switching bodies – only this time, two people are pretty much trying to share the same body. Talk about an out of body experience! I have to admit, the ending was not quite what I expected, but I really did enjoy Sam and Dara’s story. It was an interesting tale. The book does take a few twists and turns as they work to find out who is out to get Dara. The romance is steamy and the plot thickens with each page, and in my mind, it is an unexpected ending. Gracie C. McKeever writes an exciting and compelling story in her book In Plain Sight. I would recommend that if you enjoy books about fate and ghosts, that you pick this up today.

Book Excerpt:“When Samantha Taylor dropped out of her senior year of college to marry gorgeous and almost ten years her senior Dawson Foster, she never knew what she was getting into. But Sam is a quick study, and a year into her marriage, she prepares to remove her unborn baby and herself from a bad situation before it’s too late. A headlong tumble down some stairs, however, violently nips her plans in the bud. But someone upstairs has other plans for Sam in the form of rough-and-ready, newly-expired bounty hunter, Dara Kelly.

Twice-divorced, Dara Kelly doesn’t want to get married again, not even to luscious, Cuban-Irish Caution Foster. An African-American woman, she thrives in a profession where men set the rules, garnering respect and a tough reputation to match. But along with respect comes envy and enemies who will stop at nothing to gain a bounty…not even murdering a fellow skip tracer.”

Predators Salvation by Gracie C. McKeever

Mateo Diaz has always had trouble connecting deeply with women. He keeps dreaming of one woman in particular and he is not even sure who she is. Little does he know that his employers’, Alex and Genesis Ryan’s, interest in recruiting him for their Harvesting program make him a target for LaMia Enlil. LaMia had been exiled to Earth. She kidnaps Mateo and desires to make him her slave in order to keep Alex and Genesis from having him. She has had slaves in the past but never any as willful as Mateo. Little does she know that someone is out to exact revenge on her and will stop at nothing to get that revenge.

I give this book 4 1/2 tombstones. Predator’s Salvation is the second book in the Sisters of Emsharra series. After the first book Guardian Seductress, I thought for sure I would not like LaMia at all. The second book offers some insight into who she is and shows a tender side of her, which made her more likable in my mind. Mateo is a perfect match for her and I enjoyed the chemistry that occurs between them. Ms. McKeever writes several very hot and steamy scenes between Mateo and Mia. Alex and Genesis do make an appearance in the book but are minor to the main plot and story between Mia and Mateo. The further I got into Predator’s Salvation, the more trouble I had putting the book down and walking away to get other things done. Gracie C. McKeever weaves a compelling and erotic storyline in this book. There are parts of the book that refer book to Guardian Seductress, so it may be better to read that book before reading this one, but I would definitely recommend this one as a must read!

Book Excerpt: “An intern architect at Ryan and Associates, Mateo Diaz has spent the last year learning his craft under the tutelage of partner Alex Ryan. Alex is the closest thing to family that Mateo has known since losing his own family years ago. But not even Alex has been able to elicit the complete truth behind Mateo’s family’s death, especially when even Mateo himself is uncertain of the facts.

Shadowing the pair responsible for her exile, LaMia Enlil discovers a perfect means to her revenge against Alex and Genesis in Mateo Diaz, her newest target, a carrier of the rarest human energy, spirit-boost, and the only remaining blood-relative of the two males from whom LaMia once sampled the much sought-after kundalini.

Someone else, however, has a mean score to settle with LaMia and will not stop until she destroys everything the Inanna cares about, starting with her latest pet: Mateo Diaz.”

Genesis is entrusted with the duty of watching over her friend Kalika’s half-human son. Twenty-eight years later finds her still on earth protecting him, unbeknownst to Alex. When she shows up after his father’s funeral and explains his heritage, he initially questions her sanity. After he sees proof of her claims, Alex has to accept that he is the cambion and that his life is in danger. Genesis fights to protect him from the insurgents. She thinks that the only way to protect him is to take him to Emsharra and enlist the help of the Quna. Will she be able to keep him safe in the meantime?

I give this book 4 tombstones. It had an interesting premise. Alex and Genesis were strong characters and I enjoyed learning about them. I would have liked to have had more background about Genesis’s race and how Alex’s mother, Kalika, and his father met. This book was full of almost non-stop action. Even though the book was ladled with scorching sex scenes, I thought they were tastefully done and not too over the top. The book also had a nice balance of storyline versus sex scenes, which made for a great read as well. If you enjoy reading paranormal books about races from other dimensions, you may want to pick up Guardian Seductress by Gracie C. McKeever.

Book Excerpt: “When the mysterious Genesis shows up at Alex Ryan’s condo claiming to have known Alex’s mother, warning that his father’s death was no accident, and that Glenn Ryan wasn’t the target, Alex thinks the woman is stark raving mad. Once Genesis explains that she is not human, and has been watching Alex since he was born, he is certain of it.

Genesis is Inanna, an ancient race of people who subsist on the energy they regularly siphon from humans through sexual intercourse. But one of their own broke the sacred covenant twenty-eight years ago when she gave birth to the cambion, Alex Ryan. Now, time is running out. A power struggle is afoot in Emsharra, and a major shift is about to occur. The insurgent doesn’t want any loose ends threatening her rise to power-mainly the only other blood kin of the current Quna: Alex Ryan and his treasonous guardian, Genesis.”

Nine Inches of Snow and the Ebony Princess by Gracie C. McKeever

Aziza has lost everything to her bitchy step mother, Philomena. Her father is dead, and his fortune squandered. Now Aziza works in a hospital, along with Philomena who is searching for her next rich husband and has her eyes on David. Philomena vows revenge when David dumps her in favor of Aziza.

Aziza feels an instant connection to David. When David is almost killed in a hit and run, Aziza is visited by a ghostly wolf. At David’s bedside, she learns he is the wolf and is trapped out of his body. Helping him reclaim his body before the killer tries again will require some peculiar nursing skills.

Nine Inches of Snow and the Ebony Princess was a cute fairy tale, and while the characters where familiar – the prince, the down trodden princess and the evil step mom – it was still a fresh and sexy read that left me wanting to know more about Aziza and David’s life together.

Zack and the Dark Shaft by Gracie C. McKeever

***½

Zara Benjamin is used to being able to twist all those around her to her whims and is determined that Quincy Powers, the man she has been fantasizing about for years who also happens to be her best friend and unattainable by the virtue of her sex alone, will fund her newest business scheme even if it takes every last ounce of her wiles to persuade him. Falling down an empty elevator shaft just as she was about to make her dramatic exit was not in the plans and when she finds herself in limbo and in the presence of two angels she doesn’t know what to do. Micah and Jamaereh, angels extraordinaire, give her two weeks to fulfill her desire to be with Quincy and learn a lesson to save her soul.

After a terrifying dream of dying like Zara, Zack Benjamin wakes to a new day, ten months after Zara took her fatal last step, feeling her presence stronger then ever. When he starts hearing a familiar voice whisper in his ear he thinks that the grief and stress of her death has finally sent him over the edge, but continues on with his day not wanting to ruin the opening of Zara’s the gay nightclub Quincy has been working feverishly to complete as per Zara’s last business plan. At said nightclub, Quincy is finally acting on the feelings he has had for Zack for ages and is delighted by the response he gets, but for the life of him, he can’t figure out why Zack is acting so out of character.

When sibling rivalry travels to new heights, a battle of consciousness will unfold and only one twin came come out the victor. The prize is one they both want with every fiber of their beings, Quincy Powers. Will Zack finally stand up to the sister he has protected and given in to his entire life? Will Zara move beyond her selfish ways or will she fight to claim what she had always viewed as hers?

The first installment in the Zara’s Bois series, Zack and the Dark Shaft has an interesting premise and I enjoyed the interplay between the angels. As the story progressed, however, it seemed to be a bit rushed and the characters lacked the depth I would have loved to have seen in this story. The ending was anticlimactic and seemed a bit strange, however, the progression of Zara and the two men she was closest to in life was interesting and I hope to learn more of her and where she goes.

Zara has been in limbo for weeks and is relieved that He has finally come up with a task for her. Sent on a matchmaking mission, Zara is to bring together two soul mates that have never met. Come on, it couldn’t be any harder then dealing with Micah, grumpy angel-in-chief, could it?

Keir Monroe isn’t sure if he heard the owner of Zara’s right when Quincy Powers asks him if he has any problems with ghosts. As he doesn’t even believe in them, of course he doesn’t, but it seems a strange question to ask someone trying out for bartender at a trendy night club. Learning about Zara and her tragic fall as well as how many come to the club on the morbidity factor alone, he understands that it is just business. But is it?

Chaz and Dharma kidnap Patryk Andrews from his quarterly report to celebrate his twenty-fifth birthday at the hottest spot in the city, Zara’s. Patryk was in a bad relationship that destroyed his self-esteem and is socially inept at how to handle going after the man he wants, who in this case is the hottie tending the club’s bar. Hearing voices and receiving a pep talk from an angel-in-training isn’t exactly what he has in mind for his birthday and, shaken, he leaves with barely a word to Keir. Thankfully Zara has it covered and she will bring these two together no matter what it takes and believe me it will take a lot with the load of baggage these two soul mates are hauling around.

Gracie McKeever combines old characters and settings with new and draws the reader ever closer to the newly maturing character of Zara who is becoming more likable by the day. The second installment in the Zara’s Bois series, Ingenue’s Choice is better formed than the first in the series and includes more dialogue with the two angels that started it all, Micah and Jamaereh. Fans of M/M and BDSM will appreciate the eroticism of this tale and the growth of the characters as they begin to heal old hurts.

Bouncer’s Folly by Gracie C. McKeever

Zara Benjamin has returned from her last mission with positive results and is sent on her next with no warning as to what it is. Finding herself in the just OD’d body of Trevor Carmichael at Zara’s, she is not sure what Micah and Jamaereh are thinking. She is thrust without counsel into Trevor’s world with no knowledge of what it had once contained and into the arms of Ramsey Logan.

Ramsey is the bouncer at Zara’s and can’t figure out why he is so suddenly attracted to the boi who has just ruined his track record for no major incidents at Zara’s. Trevor’s young yet old eyes speak of past pain and strength beyond his age and Ramsey is determined to get him back on the drug and booze free life. With Trevor’s past life coming back to haunt them both, secrets to be told, and twin brothers that know far too much, Zara will have her hands full managing this new life, the unknown dangers, and the feelings she is starting to develop for Ramsey.

The third installment in the Zara’s Bois series, Bouncer’s Folly is a wonderful addition and continues the growth of Zara and the people surrounding her. Though there are aspects of this I would have liked to have seen expanded upon more and some that were not as well written as they could have been, I enjoyed the transition from Zara the woman to Zara the man which is an interesting journey and well written. Fans of M/M and BDSM eroticism will be intrigued by this tale and Zara’s new lease on life.
