BBB: Can you please share with us how old you were when you wrote your first romance story?

MB: I was nine years old when I wrote my first romance. It was maybe eight, nine pages at the most. The one I remember most vividly was a heroine tied to the mast of a sinking ship and the hero was fighting the villain to save her. Now days, my heroine would be the one fighting to rescue the hero. Okay, maybe they’ll be fighting side-by-side. My alpha heroes aren’t the type to let their women do all the fighting.

Stacy has felt a presence in the house every time she has come to catalog and research the books for her clients. After an argument with her ex, she decides to see if she can contact the ghost as her grandmother always told her was possible. After making contact, Stacy receives an unexpected surprise.

Alone with no living relatives, Stacy is facing a problem that she could really use some support to help see her through. When a chance, however fleeting, appears, she decides to grab it with both hands and hold on tight.
