Daydreams in Mermaid Grass by Natalie Williams
Taking a less-typical approach to writing about the paranormal, the author chooses to use poetry as her medium of exploration and illustration. While an intriguing idea, the execution has mixed results. To this reviewer, the poems in which the author does not attempt a structured rhyme scheme are the most pleasing, as this stricture sometimes results in simplistic word choice.
