King of Cats by Jessica Quinn
Melody Young took over the No Kill shelter her mother started after she died five years ago. She loves her job, but it is getting harder and harder to keep her business afloat.
Tybalt (Ty) Felix is a man that can change from human to cat. He has spent the last 16 months as a cat but now must remember how to be human.
One morning, when he was hunting in cat form, he got hit by a car. Melody saved him and brought him back to the shelter. The injured cat disappeared and in its place, Melody discovered a beautiful, blond, completely naked man. It is obvious that he wants her. When he finds out that a developer is trying to buy out her business in order to build a casino, he decides to help her out.
King of Cats was a cute story about a woman in trouble and her man/cat coming to her rescue. The only thing I did not like was that most of the scenes with Melody and Ty were in bed, or at least making out. I understand that they are attracted to each other, but I would have liked to see the relationship between the two develop a bit more. The story was predictable but still was able to put a smile on my face.
