Earth Ambassador to Enyo, Commander Joon of the Bell Amity Sisterhood finds herself on a ship with two Enyo warriors headed towards Earth after being accused of magically interfering with the Enyo Council of Elders. Joon finds that her two warrior companions, Mythos and Helas, warriors each with their own demons, intrigue her as no men have before. Derailed from their Earth-bound hyperspace jump by a tractor beam, the captive and her captors find themselves prisoners on a Maldorean space station - the most ruthless race in the galaxy. Escape is the priority. Informing Enyo of an invasion is a necessity. Falling in love is forbidden. Yet the captive and the captors do all three. Just how are they going to save a planet and save themselves?

Joon prides herself on her control over her mind and her body knowing that everything she does is for the survival of Earth. She is torn between her commitments to her Sisterhood and her new found love for two warriors. Mythos doesn’t know where he is from, having grown up on the ships of Maldorean as a sex slave. His scars run deep. He found solace in being a warrior for Enyo; it has defined who he has become yet, in Joon’s arms, he finally becomes a man. Helas is a warrior on a planet where shortcomings can alienate you from your brotherhood. Hiding a secret that would bring him shame, Helas forms a close bond with Mythos, sensing a kindred spirit and, in Joon’s arms, he becomes whole.

“Joon’s Temptation” is a fast paced read that takes you on journey of three lost souls who find each other amidst a Intergalactic war. The author does an excellent job of incorporating some great ménage sex, alien style, while executing a daring escape and fighting a space battle. These scenes are pretty hot and definitely out of this world. The story, at moments, was slightly difficult to follow due to the constant shift in time as the author was trying to build a world; being such a short piece, the history nearly surpassed the story of Joon, Mythos and Helas. Overall, I would say “Joon’s Temptation” doesn’t disappoint in the steam department.

Two thousand years after a disastrous event in human history, two distinct populations of humans formed. After time, each population became composed of nearly one gender - females on Earth, and warrior males on a distant planet, Enyo. As breeding became less and less successful, the females finally sent out a traveler, Dalila, to their long-ignored male counterparts. When Dalila ends up crash-landing and being rescued by a gorgeous pair of twins, she finds that her original mission - to procure genetic material necessary for the viability of the species - is much more complicated: she falls in love with the two sexy men.

I had fun reading this novella. While it was at times predictable, and the editing team missed some typographical errors that were distracting, the development of the romance between the characters - and the mending of the breaks in the brothers’ relationship - was slow and thoughtful. I liked the world-building that was given, though I would not have minded more. Hopefully, this will continue into a series in which more of the dystopian worlds will be explored.

Nice writing and a sweet story!
