Years ago, Lila pledged her loyalty to Dionysus, the Greek god of wine and inspirer of ritual madness and ecstasy. In this, her third test, she is forced to face the unthinkable and rebound. Is she strong enough to endure the tests laid before her or will she relent? Only time will tell.

Lila is about to learn the hardest lesson of all: how to move on. For many of us, failure is not an option, but what do you do when there are no other options? There are times in our lives when we must be completely broken before we can heal and become stronger. This is one of those times for Lila. And she perseveres, showing her true inner strength.

With every installment of this series of short stories, we see Lila grow more and more. With each page, she becomes a stronger and more complete woman. Through the acts of magic and submission, she becomes more herself and more at ease. The writing is consistent and beautiful – the words flow and the images are vivid. And the sex. Oh, yeah, the sex is very, very nice as well. A well-rounded series so far.

Years ago, Lila pledged her loyalty to Dionysus, the Greek god of wine and inspirer of ritual madness and ecstasy. Now it is time for her second test on her path to initiation in the mysterious cult known only as The Order. What will this summons hold in store for her?

Still reeling from her first test, Lila is brought back in for the second of her trials. This time, she is to be judged as worthy or otherwise. She is pushed further out of her comfort zone when her initiators turn her body into a living altar for their summoning ritual. Her powers of concentration and focus are stretched to their limits but they do not break. She is growing bit by bit as the tests move forward. I am anxious to see what she becomes at the end of her initiation.

Summoned is an exceptional sequel to Bound, picking up where the first left off and racing away. This series is fast-paced and so very, very hot. A beautiful and erotic read that is sure to curl your toes and fog your glasses.

The Oath: Bound by Adrianne Brennan

Years ago, Lila pledged her loyalty to Dionysus, the Greek god of wine and inspirer of ritual madness and ecstasy. Today, she is taking The Oath and binding herself to a secret society she knows only as The Order. What will this mysterious Order hold in store for her? Heaven only knows, but her dedication and devotion know no bounds.

Nervous and afraid, Lila waits for the initiation to begin. After hours of questioning and reciting of rites, she is brought into a new room, bound, and exposed to the real initiation. Her emotions waver from scared to aroused to unbelieving and everything in-between. With each lash of the flogger and every new rule presented to her, she becomes stronger and more willing to commit to her God and do His work here on Earth.

In this first book in The Oath series, you are introduced to Lila, the initiate who is now well on her way to passing her first test. She comes to learn just what it means to be bound – and not just in the physical sense of the word. Emotionally. Spiritually. Completely bound. And thankful to be enslaved to what she knows is her calling. An extremely steamy and erotic read, Bound will leave you wanting more - more of Lila, more of the Order, and more of the magic.

Blood of the Dark Moon by Adrianne Brennan

Amanda is a devotee of the god Apollo who sometimes sends Amanda dreams that often come true. She is also a student at NYU studying ancient Greece.

Jesse lives with his clan, The Order of the Dragon and the Rose, in a large estate. He was born in 1936 but looks as if he is in his late 20s or early 30s thanks to being a vampire.

Amanda is to meet a stranger at a coffee house to talk about ancient Greece. She is surprised to find a handsome man instead of the stuffed shirt she was expecting. They talk over coffee about religion and their beliefs. Jesse feels like he has known Amanda before; she reminds him of someone, but he can’t put his finger on it. He wants to make her his, but if she finds out what he is, they both could be killed to keep the secret of The Order.

Blood of the Dark Moon started out pretty complicated with all the magic jargon. Adrianne Brennan wove a fascinating and imaginative story with Jesse and Amanda as her main characters. Amanda had been searching for that certain someone that had the same beliefs and ideas as she did and finally finds him in Jesse. Amanda and Jesse both were built up in the story as it went, and you could feel them changing for the better. At first, Jesse came across as impulsive, but you understand him more and what his motives are as the story progresses.

Blood and Mint Chocolates by Adrianne Brennan

Meredith, a vampire librarian, receives a shocking present; a paid vacation to Hotel Paradisio, a resort set on Crystal Island. Already overwhelmed by her surroundings, she’s not sure what to think when the goddess Babalon rewards her with a prize. One sip from a chalice and Meredith can have her heart’s desire - and that desire is one night with the powerful vampire Kalia.

Blood and Mint Chocolates was the first f/f erotic romance I had the pleasure of reading. The writing is strong, and the lust between the two main characters is sinfully hot. Blood and Mint Chocolates makes it official; author Adrianne Brennan is a must-read erotic romance writer.
