Grant Stewart is a detective who knows to trust his gut. Right now, his gut is telling him something strange is going on at Belle Brides Bridal Boutique. His instincts also tell him that the owner/manager, Erica Peterson, is hiding something and he wants to know what it is. False alarm going off? Maybe. But looking into Erica’s pretty eyes, he can tell something is bothering her and it isn’t the heavy work load.

Erica Peterson is a perfectionist, which makes her job as co-owner of Belle Brides ideal. And with the bridal season arriving in full swing, Erica is anticipating a good year for her business. Now if she could just figure out what is going on in her store before she determines that she’s going out of her mind. Mannequins disappearing, lights going on and off when no one is in the salon, and a woman in a Victorian bridal gown who happens to be floating six inches off the ground? Ghosts? It just can’t be, can it? Oh, if it is, please let it not hurt business!

The Victorian manor which was turned into the best bridal salon in the area has been in Erica’s family for years. Ever since she was a little girl, Belle Brides has been her sanctuary. She knows every inch of that place…every inch that is, except for the tower. For some reason, her parents have always kept the tower room locked up and they never said why. Maybe it is time to open its door and solve the riddle to this puzzle, then she can calm her employees and customers (whatever is left of them), get that detective off her back and hopefully get her life back to normal.

Eternally His is as riveting a ghost story as it is enchanting a love story that reaches beyond the veils of time. The ending does have an interesting twist that could surprise some unsuspecting readers. I wasn’t exactly thrilled with how the ending came to play but I still enjoyed the story and my journey through it. Eternally His was definitely one of the more interesting tales I have read in a good while.
