With her father’s health failing, Noreen Tibbets agrees to quit her ten year journey in search of warm weather and perfect beaches and come home to Nordia there take up her loathsome duties as Princess or hopefully denounce her right to the throne in favor of her twin sister Coreen. Following close on her heels is her latest enamorato who insists they complete their marriage ceremony. Noreen is met at the station by Gunnar Zaren who is to accompany her to the northern palace where her family awaits. It only remains to be said that Gunnar is big, blond, beautiful and sexy; he is also the god-chosen mate of the next ruler of Nordia. What ensues is an often hilarious and always entertaining series of encounters with Noreen’s family, the Nordia equivalent of the Norse gods, and Noreen’s enthusiastic but thwarted lover.

This is a beach book if there ever was one. The aspect of a rollicking romance set on an iceball world is a guarantee of moments of cooling breezes and frosty beverages between some hot and steamy love scenes. It’s a beach ball bouncing gloriously between blankets and bikinis.

Morgan Q. O’Reilly is an author to watch for. She uses conflict as both a battle ax and a feather. Her love scenes are fever inducing and her characters are delightful. What more could you ask for except MORE, MORE, MORE. Brava, Ms. O’Reilly, brava!
