Does What Happens at Romantic Times Stay at RT? We Think Not!
The amazing author, artist and all around genius known as Renee George is going to be doing a bit of an Romantic Times expose for those of us who are unable to attend the convention in Orlando this year. Each day she’ll be sending in short video interviews of your different favorite paranormal authors! Only available at ….you guessed it Bitten by Books!
These are the videos from last night after many of the authors we know and love arrived. The information they share on these videos is important and noteworthy. Pay very close attention, there may just be a test later.
A Test? Yes, of course! You knows we can’t do anything without having a contest! So, each day there will be a few tasks to complete in order to be entered into a drawing for not one but TWO prizes. Don’t worry, I am going to make it EASY…well pretty easy! *insert evil contest laughter here* LOL
First you need to watch all of the Romantic Times videos by Renee George here at BBB each day from now through the 27th of April. They are short so this will be a snap! They may not be work or child appropriate. The prizes? A $25.00 Amazon.com Gift Card from your friends here at BBB and a $25.00 Gift Card from Renee George!! Who knows maybe somebody else might come on by and chip into the prize pile for you too. Only way to find out is to come by EVERY DAY!
Without further ado, here are the incrimating errr stimulating interviews from last night. After you are done watching, go to the bottom of the Page to see what fun thing you need to do to enter the contest.
Okay, now, for the contest!
You MUST do all of these things to enter. Completing these tasks give you 100 entries towards the final count in the contest.
1. Leave your favorite boozy drink in the comments section. (or non-alcoholic beverage for those who do not imbibe).
2. What boozy drink do YOU think best describes your favorite paranormal author’s writing. Oh and the name of that author. If it is one of the authors featured in the video, do you agree with thier drink choice? Why or Why not?
3. EMAIL me at racoo.smith @ gmail . com (no spaces) with the following answers to these two questions. Put the words RT Contest Answers in the subject line so it doesn’t go to spam and I can count your entries.
What color does Dakota Cassidy Despise above all others?
What color belt does Renee George hold in Tae Kwon Do?
DO NOT post the answers here or it will be deleted and your entry won’t count.
4. Post the link to today’s contest on your blog, website, yahoo groups, FB, twitter, email your friends ANYTHING to let people know to come and etc. This is the link: http://bittenbybooks.com/?p=6299
5. Leave 1 general question you would like to ask a paranormal fiction author. Your answer may be included in a random interview. Be sure to leave your name so we know who you are for the interview!
6. Come back tomorrow for more videos and ways to win the contest!

I LOVED these videos! Thanks for sharing them. I look forward to more!

There was much snorting, coffee-shooting, and scared weiner dogs from me laughing! The “Pop-up Video” style was amazing!

LOL, thanks you two. Renee is doing a VERY good job. It is hard work but somebody has to cover the RT bar scene. he he
I thought Dakota was going to purr right out of the frame!

Favorite Drink…. it changes based on the day. I’m currently on a margarita kick
Favorite drink that describes an author? I’d have to say a mind eraser for mark henry. Sometimes, you just want to forget….
My favorite question is: What is one immortal creature you would choose to be?
What a great feature! You keep us on our toes!

Love the videos and I’m hating I’m not there.
My favorite boozy drink is Bud light , I know I’m boring.
I think the drink Devil’s Advocate fits my favorite author Laurell K. Hamilton because her books are really what kick started my obsession with reading.
My question is going to stick with the booze them. If they could pick one person to either give or take a body shot from who would it be and why.
Did a retweet Carmen_R

great job, Renee! I love these videos. I was hoping to make the convention since Orlando is not too far from me, but I am working!
Oh, well, a gal has to make a living! At least I can what these videos. Can’t wait for today’s

Love this! Very humourous (and clearly I am out of date on many alcoholic bevies! Didn’t know half of ‘em).
My fave drink has always been the frozen margarita (which may explain why I am not up on current drinks… I got ‘frozen’ in time, tee hee).
I’d pick a Dark and Stormy for Jenna Black’s Morgan Kingsley. She lives in a fairly dark world and her relationships with, well, everyone are definitely stormy!
BONUS: A Black and Tan for John Levitt’s Mason. Louie is a black and tan ifrit, isn’t he?
My question would be: now that you’ve built your ‘world’ do you thing you could live in it?

Thanks for the videos - wish I were there! My drink would have been Moscow Mule because I am ’slightly’ stubborn. However, my husband’s aunt introduced me to Hot Sex this spring - need I say more?
Most of the stories seem to take place in New York or New Orleans -I am tracking a group of paranormals in Vegas which is fun for me - have you ever thought of Pittsburgh or Sharon PA, or… somewhere exciting like that?

**The drink would be Long Island Ice Tea (surprise, surprise!) Because that is what you need after reading her books and imagining Trevor! Oh lala! Yummy!
**Though I did agree with Laurel k Hamiltons “Sex On The Beach”, perfect!
Though I think “Hot Damn” would be appropiate as well!
**Question: Did anyone see the accused ferret in ballerina slippers who was drunk on Scotch run out in front of Adrian Phoniex???**
She broke her leg there at RT! Poor thing, she is so sweet and that just sucks! But she has a great sense of humor about the whole thing! Healing Blessings to her for a quick recovery.

Since i don’t drink, it’d have to be A Shirley Temple. And i’m so glad we get to see what happens at the bar. lol. all these authors talk about it, but now we see them all!! And i agree with Richelle Mead because even tho i never had that drink, it does sound like it has eveything and that’s what i’m told. lol

My favorite boozy drink at the moment is a Mojito with habanero muddled in. It is sweet, puckery and hot as hell!
As for a drink to describe a favorite author’s writing….I am gonna go with Mario Acevedo and an Alien Secretion.

1. Frozen Pineda Colada or Amaretto Sour
2. Mark Henry’s Rotten Cooch is going to be tacked onto Laurell K Hamilton’s Anita Blake series, because honestly what happened to the original character we all knew and loved? I also say it sounds like Henry is a snarky badass so Rotten Cooch is great for him too!
