Wanting to start over again, Marian moves from Boston to Fear Point, Massachusetts. She is a science teacher but will write a paper on cicadas before school starts. Marian rents the Blake house for the summer. The locals tell her that the house is haunted but she does not believe them. Well, until she gets a visitor in the middle of the night that sets her entire body on fire. Jon is under a curse from a sorcerer named Max. He can walk the earth every 17 years and is only allowed to have sex three times with a woman. He must make her love him before the third time or he goes back to his grave for 17 years and it starts all over again.

I was very surprised by this book. I was expecting bugs. I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to look for more by Ms. Locke. Marian has been hurt by a man that does not deserve to breathe. He has pretty much verbally abused her by saying she did not satisfy him and was not sexy enough. In comes Jon who knows how to make a woman smile and shows her that she is indeed sexy. The pages sizzle during these loves scenes. They are intense but it works well with the story line and does not seem like just sex. All I know is that I wish my house was haunted.
