When a forestry officer starts hunting for the perpetrator who is slaughtering animals on local farms, she finds not only romance but also a living legend.

Madison is hunting for the creature that has killed and will kill again if she does not stop it. During a stakeout at a local farm, she discovers the handsome and mysterious artist Kaletaka. Little does she know the depth of the mystery that she has gotten herself into.

Coyote Gorgeous is a fantastic story, with the integration of Navajo legend into the modern setting of the story this volume is a real page turner. Admittedly, I may be a little biased to stories that have American Indians, given I am a Choctaw Indian myself. But that bias also makes me rather critical of stories that have Indian elements. I was truly impressed with this story and the seamless integration of the Navajo legends of skinwalkers.

This is a fun read that I highly recommend to anyone with a passion for shapeshifters, Indians and mystery.
