Guest Blog, Chat and Contest with Author Mario Acevedo
PLEASE NOTE: The contest portion of this event is now over. The winner will be chosen later and notified via email.
Hi Bitten By Books. It’s a pleasure to be here and share my latest offering, book 5 in the Felix Gomez detective-vampire series: Werewolf Smackdown. So far I’ve introduced all kinds of supernatural creatures and dangerous villains: a dryad (forest sprite of the fey persuasion), radioactive nymphomaniacs, alien gangsters, government assassins, zombies, and now, werewolves.
Why werewolves? Because when a werewolf crashes your party, you know there’s going to be trouble. Has anyone heard of a nice guy werewolf? Of course not. And if it’s a lycanthrope shindig, then an interloping vampire is cruising for a bruising. Basically, vampires and werewolves are the cats and dogs of the paranormal world. (Or is it bats and dogs?) Those familiar with my hero Felix Gomez know that he is a real smart ass. And what self-respecting werewolf is going to let an undead bloodsucker talk smack to him?
This story not only has werewolves but I’ve also dropped Felix in an all-new setting. To spice up his résumé as a private detective, each of his adventures has taken place in a different locale. He’s had scrapes in Denver, Los Angeles, Hilton Head Island, and the rural digs of the San Luis Valley in Colorado. I needed to have at least one book set in a southern Gothic city and where else but Charleston, SC? For research, I visited the Holy City (or Wicked City, depending on your preferred form of recreation) and got to pal around with some amazing folks who gave a tour of secret tunnels and haunts. And since southern Gothic also means ghosts, Felix makes the acquaintance of at least one specter who helps him out in an unexpected way. For a price.
I think every neighborhood has qualities that invite the supernatural and the unexpected. What about your town? Is there an abandoned factory? A creepy underground garage? A spooky field? Maybe a haunted house? Some place that echoes with the silent screams of mayhem and murder? Every time you walk by, shivers crawl up and down your skin? This time of year, I feel that way when I walk by the local IRS office.
After Werewolf Smackdown, what’s next? Exciting news, that’s what! I’ve got a comic book deal with IDW Publishing starring Felix Gomez in an all-new adventure told in five issues. In my tales of the weird and the bizarre I’ve stuck to the premise that in a universe crawling with fantastic monsters, it’s humans who remain the most violent, treacherous, and dangerous. This time, Felix journeys to Hong Kong to dismantle the heroin operation of the ruthless Han Cobras. Humans versus the undead. Piece of cake? No way. Even a war veteran vampire like Felix is astonished by the bloodbath. It’s a gory rumble with vampires, mobsters, and an alluring femme fatale, illustrated with the eye-popping artwork of Alberto Dose and Pintu. Look for KILLING THE COBRA, issue #1 in late April, 2010.
One question that gets kicked around at fantasy cons concerns werewolves. Can there be other were-creatures? A were-tiger, for example. A were-badger? A were-grizzly? I guess why not? What about a were-moose? What do you think? And who are sexier? Werewolves or vampires?
Thanks Bitten By Books. Support your favorite fantasy author. Here are mine. Mark Henry. Richelle Mead. Jeanne Stein. Warren Hammond. Kat Richardson. Juliet Blackwell.
Happy fanging!

I thought America needed the truth about the supernatural world. The vampires. Werewolves. Aliens. Especially those made from Legos.
GB is played by Eric Matelski, an art pimp and Denver Mastermind. True. That title came with money.
Question for the group. Vampires or werewolves?

There are cultures around the world said to have the ability to transform into panthers, bears and other things so I don’t see why there can’t even be were-mongooses.
I’ve ordered Smackdown, but since I’m cat sitting for my sis while she’s on her honeymoon I won’t get to it till I get home next week.
spreading the word and I RSVP’d………….thanks

Thanks for being here today; sounds snarky.
I wouldn’t suggest wandering around in the woods in the dark near our house, unless you like coyotes. The barn is creepy in the dark, but for no paranormal reasons. I’m not usually afraid of the paranormal, and I’ve only been in one haunted place that I know of, which only felt strange, not scary. Have you ever had a paranormal experience?
I like other were-creatures, especially cats. Originally, I wasn’t into weres, but I read enough books that they’re growing on me.
Vampires, though cold, tend to be sexier than beasts, unless they are in human form. You have to worry about the accidental scratching with weres, not so much with vampires (unless it spreads like a virus).
RSVPd for this. Did book chat, RSVP, voted, event check etc.

R.E.B. Thanks for posting.
Every time I wake up it’s like a paranormal experience. What really scares me are fat letters from the government.

Okay so I will say I did RVSP. And I LOVE your books. I have them on audio and paper. You are such an inspiration. I was working on a book a couple years back and then I read the Sookie series and the Felix Gomez series. It gave me the kick in the butt I needed to say, okay let’s finish this. Anyways, sorry for babbling. I have to say that I do believe in other were animals, in fact in my book I just finished writing there are were-panthers and were-leopards. I live in San Diego and go to the zoo often. When I go I like to look at the big cats and think about how majestic they look. If they were were-animals I could probably actually pet one without getting eaten!

2) Sure Why Not. There Can Be were-Anything Within Reason. I Mean Were-Insects Is Just Crazy Buy Any Were-Animal Seems About Right.
I Don’t Know It All Depends. Werewolves In There Human Form Are More Sexier Because Vampires In Their Human Form Are More Pale And Really Thin.

Hey Mario, first off, let me apologize for never having read your books. Now, it’s not that I don’t want to, because oh how I do, but I love this genre so much, I have so many books piled up to read.Plus there is that little thing called work. ah, if only I had more free time. But as you release book 5 (congrats!) I promise to start reading your Felix Gomez books as soon as possible.I did RSVP for this event, I requested you as a FB friend, posted a link on my FB page, follow you on Twitter, retweeted you post fro this event ,RSVP’d for tomorrow, and voted in the poll. Now to answer your question: yes, I lvoe all kinds of werecreatures. were tigers, (Like Quinn from Charlaine Harris’s series, or cassie fro Teresa D’Amario’s Tigress by the tail) now I have never yet heard of a were-badger, but that would surely be interesting. I do think werewolves can be sexy, but I have to say I still think vamps are sexier. Thanks for being here today!
[Reply]
Thanks for being here.
There is no reason why not to have other were-creatures. I love the wolves but cats are great too. Not too sure about a weremoose. All I can think of is Bullwinkle ;).
To be honest I think the Vamp is the sexiest. Always had a thing for them, though I don’t think I’d willingly let one feed off of me.
I RSVP’d.

Hi Mario! Thanks for being here with us today!
I’ve personally always been a vampire fan myself ever since I was a little girl. I’m becoming a big fan of shifters now as well. And I don’t see why there can’t be shifters of all kinds.
As for creepy places near my house. The Blair Witch cave is pretty close. There’s also a place everyone calls the headless statues, where people have some pretty strange experiences and the heads have been known to show back up in a picture or two.
[Reply]
I really like werewolves, although they’re not always the sexiest, they’re still pretty handsome depending on which you look at it, if you think about though being scratched by a werewolf might feel good in the bedroom. I think it’s neat that other were creatures are slowly becoming popular, that’s what Sherrilyn Kenyon does sometimes.
Do you mind my asking how you got into the paranormal? No offense but it seems like a rare topic for a guy author.

Yo Mario,
Sorry to have missed your signing the other day. I heard it was a packed house and you know I’m not good with crowds.
As facinating as were-creatures are, I’m just as facinated by creatures who adopt the form of humans (were-humans?) Such as Japanese legends of the taniki and foxes who become human to live amoung us. I see Felix is going to Hong Kong, can Tokyo be far behind?
See you at something soon, I’m sure. Congrats on all the success, my friend!

I think that there isn’t any reason why there can’t be other were creatures besides wolves. People who live in areas that don’t have wolves have legends of other were creatures. Although I don’t know about were mice - i don’t think they’d have a very high survival rate.

Denise: thanks for the cross posting. You get major karma points.
Lisa M: no worries. Thanks for stopping by.

I have read them all and even went to a signing at the Mysterious Galaxy out here for her. They are REALLY good. At my last job they called me the library. I would tell people what to read because I read anything and everything. I got several people hooked on Sookie, Anna Strong, and Felix. Also the series by Cassandra Claire.

Vicki S: Bullwinkle as a were-moose. Too funny.
NRSVampChick: scary stuff. Do you whistle as you walk by or carry a flame thrower?
GabrielleJ: I write urban fantasy because with all these hot supernatural chicks in the genre, my macho vampire wanted in on the action.
David: glad you made it.
Sandy G: Are there were-seals?
[Reply]
Of course there are wereseals. Nicole Peeler writes about them

I think there was also a Fae that turned into a seal in the Meredith Gentry series, that might count. It was in the first part of the first book.

Mario- Thank you for taking the time out of your day to chat with us here. I don’t see why there could not be other were- creatures, but other then a full moon what would make these beings different then a shape shifter? But if I had my choosing I would love to be a type of were- jaguar or panther. Big cats seem like they would be more fun then a large dog just because even if the cats are of a large breed they are still graceful yet deadly!
If I also had a choice between a vamp a were creature I would have to choose a were being since they are atleast able to have a semi normal life during the daytime and they are able to survive on more then blood, AND they are not ice cold all the time! (Plus you can have a crazy wild primative sex life and blame it on your animal magnetizem!)
I have not had the joy to reaf any of your books yet but they will certainly will be added to my TBR list (that keeps accumulating thanks to this group, LOL, who knew there were so many great authors out in the world!) I would also like to add that I think it is a nice change of setting ti have a book with the main charector being a male! Have a wonderful day!
I am posting on my facebook and I put a maybe for RSVP if that counts for anything.

I think a were-tiger would be very cool. Shelly Laurenston writes about some great were-bears and I absolutely love her stuff. as for a were-bager can’t really see that one and the were-moose seems like that would be more along the lines of a comedy.

As far as Real World Lore For Realsies, I think shapeshifters are limited to predatory mammals. You’ve got wolves. The Norse also had bears. Africa has folks who turn into hyenas. Asia has their fox women. The good old US of A has Native American coyote skinwalkers. Seals fit this pattern too (they are carnivorous mammals after all, just soggy ones)
Any other kind of form is usually a witch/sorceror/whoever doing spirit travel in animal form. That’s when you get your legends of people running around as rabbits or frogs or birds.
The important question is who is sexier- Werewolves or Vampires? I’d say werewolves, and not just because Jacob has the hunky six-pack while Edward is a pasty guy who wears lipstick and glitter. Werewolves are linked to primal energy and their animal side. This means that they are going to be sex beasts in the sack. Vampires are dead people who live like leeches on teh vital forces of others. You know that they are just going to lay there and the guys probably have erectile issues, what with being dead and all. I’m just saying.
[Reply]
My personal belief is that you can have a were from any animal with fur. I’m not big on were-snakes, were-birds, were-hippos–no matter how scary.
I also believe that it’s easier for a warm-blooded being to be sexier than for the undead. Not that there aren’t examples to the contrary, but I personally tend to like me some werewolf mens.
[Reply]
Hahahaha, and I just watched the video. Sparkly Lego vampires. What has the world come to?
[Reply]
Elizabeth Anne Scarboro had a were-moose in one of her early books. It was pretty funny, except it bit and spit.
I personally think a were-eel would be kind of creepy.
Now, if we’re talking “who’s sexier: a werewolf or Mario” I’m going with Mario: less hair.
[Reply]
The scariest place around Flagstaff is the lava tubes. I’m pretty sure “It” from Stephen King’s nightmares lives down there. I’m all for a were-hamster. Think of the mischief, sort of like Stuart Little gone bad. I bought a book.
[Reply]
I live next to Old Town Alexandria, and while having great history, haven’t encountered anything creepy yet. I was creeped out though when I went to the Newseum and stood in one of the old guard towers from the Berlin Wall. Bad ghostly mojo.
I also prefer weres to vampires, because they’re more emotional, and so I think make for much more complex characters which can’t help but be more interesting. But I think vamps are traditionally sexier-often being cool and aloof is a draw.
I RSVP’d
[Reply]
Oh, and I think there can be a were-anything. There are just some animals that give a greater advantage, and I think it also makes more sense to turn into the more intelligent ones (weredolphins?) But I love wolves anyway, even ones that don’t shift.
[Reply]
Now that I think about it, the Faerie Folk also turn into animals a lot- horses, swans, rabbits, etc. If a moose suddenly turns into a person, it’s probably one of the Fey.

A Felix comic? That’s awesome news. Must put that on my subscription list at my local comic store.
We have a creepy unexplained little village in our town. Little tiny houses for very little ‘people’ perhaps? I need to take some photos.
Who’s sexier? Vampires, but not the Nosferatu or sparkly kind. The Frank Langella in Dracula in the theater kind.
There could be other weres. Why not?

I think hot people are just hot people! Take the Anita Blake books, they are all freaking sexy. But in Buffy, ALL vamps except Angel and Spike are gross. Jean Claude and Micah. And I would definitely donate some blood to Felix or Eric Northman. The vamps in Mary Janice Davidson books are yummy and the weres in Kelley Armstrong books are hot. I would not be opposed to donating the blood to vamps, I have always had a thing for them.

I always thought that there were other weres, so to me it’s just right thing to be. I would be a weretiger, why I don’t know, I just identify with tigers. Now for who is sexier well again I go with weres, they are alive and can reproduce. I like live things and as many years as they live you might as well say they live almost forever. If you weren’t a writer what would you be? I RSVPed and did everything but post about you. Lisa D.

As for other weres, mythology has supported other shifters so, why not. In fact I remember a game from the 70’s/80’s that had werechickens. Not sure what the point of that was, or how you would even become one. But, there you are.

Can there be other were-creatures?–If there is one kind I don’t see why there can’t be others. In fact the books I enjoy the most are those that have more than one kind of shifter &/or more than one kind of paranormal being.
And who are sexier? Werewolves or vampires?–Would have to go with the shifter for this one, if for no other reason than they are more versatile time wise. I wouldn’t want a lover that was unavailable half the time.

A were-moose would be something to see. We have deer and some other interesting wildlife hanging out in our neighborhood — how about were-turkeys (of the “wild” variety)?
I am probably more partial to vampires, but as to which is sexier, that would likely depend upon the individual.

Hi! I think there are all kinds of interesting were-creatures popping up in paranormal fiction these days. Although, werewolves will probably always be the most popular, several authors are getting more and more creative when it comes to various were… characters. I think Rachel Vincent’s Shifter series is a good example, it features were-cats (panther like cats, not house kitties), werebears, and thunderbirds (were-pterodactyl type birds) all of whom exhibit the subtle personality characteristics of their “animals”. I also think Faith Hunter and Patricia Briggs both do a great job of re-imagining Native American skinwalkers in the Jane Yellowrock and Mercy Thompson series.
As for who are sexier - I think both can be, but I’ll say shifters cause their possessive/protective natures and the strong alpha arctype.
I RSVP’s for this event
I also voted in the poll and Rsvp’d for tomorrows event

Hello Mario!
Thanks for taking time to come here and chat with us. I haven’t read your books yet, but I definitely like the idea of a vampire detedtive!
To answer your questions: I don’t know of any hunted places where I live now. There was something that gave me the chills and made me want to run away in the place where I grew up - but it was the people who lived there. Does that count? lol
Between weres and vamps… definitely vamps. Plus, weres turn furry and they can be moody, and I’m moody enough by myself. Though they are prefereable to vamps, in regards of body temperature.

When I first started to read urban fantasy, I would have chosen vampires hands down, I mean they’re just so hot and sexy. Then I read a couple of shifter books, and thought, hmmm….they’re pretty hot too. But, I have to go back to the original reason I loved UF, and that’s vampires. I’m a true blue vampire lover. Though, I willing to give werewolves a chance, lol!

@ Rachel LOL were-swans…. yeah, LKH did coin were-swans, and were-hyenas, rats, panthers, tigers, too many to list….. but don’t recall were-bunnies….

I’ve read books about werewolves, werecats(of various types), werebears, weredragons and wereeagles. Guess that means that anything from the animal kingdom can become a “were”. Me, I prefer the werewolf. Vampires can be sexier, but they still can’t measure up to werewolves.

Love this series. Not real big on comic books though.
As for other weres they would be called Shifters I think. And who are sexier? Werewolves or vampires? Vampires just look @ Felix.
[Reply]
I love all things paranormal, but I have to say I prefer weres to vampires. I don’t know why, maybe something to do with all that animal instinct and craziness!

Vale R: people can definitely be more creepy than places. I had an uncle who…TMI
Dottie Taylor: yeah, I love my vampires, but after this book, I made a little room in my heart for werewolves.
Bridget W: were-rabbit. Given the choice, wouldn’t you prefer shifting into a wolf?
Patsy Hagan: Of course and Felix Gomez loves you for that reason.
Donna A: stay tuned to the Biting-Edge blog for a look at Felix. Major undead hunk.

Hi Mario i rsvped but was wondering where in the world did you come with Felix? P.s…..love the books!!!
[Reply]
Mario, I didn’t see this question asked but I really want to know, Do you have to read your books in order? I bought JailBait Zombie because it was the only one the store had. Then found out it was book 4 in the series.
As for Vampires or Werewolfs. I think Werewolfs. They mate for life and I have never heard of an ugly were! or Vampire for that matter!
Pam B.
[Reply]
I agree with Pam Werewolves, not only do they mate for life not always do they choose the life the end up in some times it happens by accident…i.e. LKH books talk about it a lot.
[Reply]
Hi Mario!!! Thanks for stopping by.
I think there can be all kinds of were-animals. Although, it would be interesting to see a were-shark. I assume that that person would have to work near the water…maybe a fisherman or in the Navy. It would be very cool to be able to explore the sea.
I would have to say vamps are sexier. Maybe its that whole they can be 100s of years old, and the hang around in the dark. I don’t know.
Why did you pick a vamp to be your hero?
[Reply]
I live in a small Indiana town that doubles as a South-Side Chicago suburb. There are a lot of abandoned and foreclosed homes; very spooky.
I don’t see why there couldn’t be were-animals of most sorts, although obviously the most successful ones are going to be predators. Were-manatees, were-hedgehogs, and were-platypi just don’t cut it on the preternatural food chain.
I prefer vamps to most weres, although it becomes harder to decide if the were in question is some form of big cat.
I RSVPd. Purchase confirmation for Werewolf Smackdown forwarded.
Book chat, paranormal vote, Susan Blexrud RSVPd, all done.

@Mario I think Felix Gomez & the Fey Canadian Weremoose should be your next comic series at IDW. Check out your Facebook to see why, lol

Dina S: we’re glad that you’re here. A big hairy welcome…with fangs.
Victoria V: Felix just popped into my head. He didn’t even bother to wipe his feet. I put my own spin on lycanthropes.
Pam Briz: Good question. Well, I wrote them in order but I tried to make each book a stand alone.

Hi Mario
Here is my current burning question…..We have Jeanne Stein coming to Tucson, AZ for the Festival of books on Saturday, any chance we can talk you into coming next year? Vampires really don’t sparkle and I think Felix is a wonderful example of this.
[Reply]
I think were-monkeys or even more specific were-gibbons would be loads of fun…..
[Reply]
Hello Mario:) I really don’t want to dis Felix by going for the weres, but I love weres. Ilona Andrews has bears, lions and hyenas, oh my. *snicker* They are pretty dang awesome. Do I have to choose? Why can’t I just say that Felix is sexy and leave it at that? Come on, be fair here. By the way, I’m thinking Jane True wants Felix. Nicole probably won’t admit it, but I’m SURE I saw something about Jane having the hots for Felix.
Do you think that Anna Strong could beat up Felix? Hmmm…

hey Mario, by pop in your head do you mean he was just there like an image or you could here him talking, possibly a combo of both? I’m wondering as many authors say different things like J.R. Ward said in her insiders guide the BDB way just showed up one day and let her see what they wanted her to see when they wanted her to see it. so its kinda interesting to learn how peoples books and characters start out. thanks.

I think any type of animal can be a were. I believe in most cases that werewolves are sexy. I am an animal love. I think I can see myself curled up beside a wolf.

Hey Mario! It’s good to see you here on BBB. I have a question, why did you do a change-up on the titles of your books? You had me at NYMPHOS OF ROCKY FLATS, dude! And then the enchanting X-RATED BLOODSUCKERS. I am hooked on the titles as much as the books.
As for who is sexier, vamps over were’s everytime.
Sorry I missed you on Saturday at Broadway Book Mall. We had Fun Day at Lady K’s swim lessons and had to sign the tax papers….sigh…..

Hi Mario,
I think there can totally be other kinds of were-creatures. Were-tigers, were-dragons, the wolves cant possibly have a monopoly on the shifting. And while I do like shifters I have to go with vampires.
Thanks!!

3) Actually haven’t read any of your titles… Jeanne Stein posted about your signing on Sunday. And I immediately looked you up on Amazon and put your books into my cart for my next order. Of course living in Indiana couldn’t make it to the signing… And have to love the titles

Carolyn Crane: Hey. Glad you made it but the coffee got cold.
Koren Cota: Sure, I’d love to visit AZ.

Victoria V: I know Felix was from the beginning but had to flesh him out. Writing X-Rated Bloodsuckers made me think a lot about where he came from.
Julie Swaney: How come no one wants to curl up with an armadillo?
Elie N: why would I want to change your mind? Vampires are sexy and good dancers.
Vickie B: The original name for Werewolf Smackdown was the Werewolf Super Sex Club but my editor and I decided that smackdown better captured the essence of the story.
stacey smith: Thanks for the props. Good point about my books.

Laurell K Hamilton has a plethora of weres in her books, from foxes to swans and heaps more. I think there has to be a limit on the types of weres around as I can’t imagine a full grown person turning into a were butterfly or elephant. I also think therew seems to be more of a focus on aggressicve weres, you rarely see a were pony. A were moose would be impressive especially having to produce antlers.
I’m torn between vamps and weres, can I just have one of each?
Or could there be a blending of the 2, A vamp who gets furry during the full moon. Hmmmm that’s a possibility.

Vamps are sexier. Weres have too much body hair

As I am just catching up on the discussion I missed- I noticed there was talk about a were-rabbit, if I remember right there is a childs book about a vampire rabbit about the 5th grade reading level. (I maybe thinking of someother storyline, sorry my sometimers is kicking in!) LOL. And I am most definately needing a werewolf instead of vamp- living in Michigan we have too many cold nights and I want to cuddle with something warmer then myself plus the whole life mating thing is a romantic type of sexy for me!
[Reply]
Mario, I’m white and I still grew up afraid of El Cucui
[Reply]
Okay, I know Mario was kidding when he asked “And who are sexier? Werewolves or vampires?”
We ALL know the answer to that…vampires, of course. Who’d want to make out with a slobbering werewolf??? Even Anna would prefer Felix to that….

Hi Mario,
I love your books, they ahve the right amount of everything to keep you properly entertained. I love the fact that you didn’t stick to just one paranormal, you incorporated all of them. YAY! I just ordered Werewolf Smackdown, I can’t wait until it arrives!
There is not a place that i consider haunted in my town, but there arer these woods near my house that two kids dissapeared in, that I refuse to walk through.
I think there can be all types of were-creatures, why not? If a human can turn ito wolf, why not a leopard, or jaguar, or even a moose?
I think Vampires are sexier juso on general principal.
Do you think you will be starting a new series anytime soon?
I am wishing you much continued success on this series, and with your up- coming comic.

I’d say it’s a tossup. There are sexy, hot vamps and werewolves on covers everywhere but there are just as many geeky vamps and werewolves that stay off the radar. Sometimes these less noticeable guys are much sexier than the showoffs.
Now my question, If you were a book, what would your blurb be?

Tawania Etheridge: Thanks for the comments. I can tell you love urban fantasy as much as the rest of us.
Lisa Richards: What a great question. If I was a book, what would my blurb be? “These words won’t give you cooties.”
[Reply]
I’d say it depends on the kind of the animal, if it’s big, strong and possibly dangerous, then it could well be a were-something, but otherwise it would be just too funny. Like a weremouse or wererat:)
As for who are sexier, vampires or werewolves, I’d say it depends on which type one prefers - the mysterious, elegant and pale faced one or the wild and strong type. I know I prefer werewolves.
Now I’d like to ask, do you usually have planned the ending of a book when you start writing it, or you make it up as you go?
Thanks!

Vampires are definitely sexier! And I wouldn’t mind if there are other werebeings — werecockroaches [although that would be icky], weretigers, weredogs, lol. bring them on! There’s enough space in the paranormal world to squeeze them all in, i think
Let me throw the question back to you - are you also open to other were creatures? what would be your favourite if you had to make one up and why?

So sorry that I’m tardy. Yesterday was a friend’s birthday not ot mention that it was gorgeous outside, 65 degree weather, so I was going to enjoy it.
As for your question I would say Werewolf. But yeah, I like the concept of were-creatures, especially if they move away from the commonly used species. Why not a were-moose, were-horse or even a were-rabbit or were-fox. I generally like when authors try something unique than the same ol same ol

2. I believe there should be other Were-creatures. Would make things more interesting! I remember in that werewolf movie, Cursed, his dog turned into a were-dog. It was so cool…and powerful! As for who is sexier, vampire or werewolf, I used to think vampire until Jacob came along. Yeah, yeah…you can laugh, but he is one HOT werewolf! That being said, I still think vamps win by a hair.
