Oh tough choice!
I guess I love demons. Big Al is one of my favorites from Kim Harrison’s Hollow’s novels. However I’m in the process of reading Hush Hush so I kind of like angels too. I haven’t finished so no one ruin the end for me!!
I’m currently writing a YA novel about demons and angels myself. While I adore my demons, I have a real soft spot for my fallen guardian angel. Not that he’s your typical angel. Or maybe all guardian angels are covered in tattoos and have no problem with grand theft auto.

Hmmmm…I like both actually. I really can’t decide because both angels and demons bring great conflict into the stories I have read. I just finished reading the Faith Savage Demon Huntress series by K.A. M’Lady! I loved it! Angels and Demons fighting for the souls of mandkind!!! Love it:o)

1. I like books with book. I do think my favorite demon is Jerome from Richelle Mead’s Georgina Kincaid series. I also think there are not enough Angels featured in paranormal fiction and hopefully, that will change. Now while my favorite angel is Castiel on Supernatural, we are discussing books here, so I will have to go with my 2nd favorite angel: Carter, also from Richelle Mead’s series. I have never had such a crush on a fictional character that I cannot see! *sigh*

I like both angels and demons pretty much equally. My favorite angel character is Volos, from Nancy Springer’s novel “Metal Angel” (an oldie but a goodie; published in 1994). I don’t have a favorite series yet, though.

1) I like it when the demons are fallen angels. I’m a bit odd like that, I guess, LOL.
2) Favorites? Hmm…demonwise, I love Al from Kim Harrison’s series, Jim from Katie MacAlister’s, GREYSON (::swoon::) from Stacia Kane’s, Lucifer (my little love muffin!) from Stephanie Rowe’s, Cadeon from Kresley Cole’s, and Jez from Jackie Kessler’s. Angels…let’s see…any character from Dawn Montgomery’s books, Raphael from Nalini Singh’s, and there was an angel in Diana Pharaoh Francis’s Bitter Night that I took a shine to, but I can’t remember how to spell his name. : (
3) I listed all the series, LOL.
Mindy—when I saw “Big Al” I thought you were talking about the South Park character. : )

1.) Do you prefer to read about angels or demons as characters in paranormal fiction, and why?
I don’t have a preference for angels or demons per say, I’m more about good characterization in general regardless of what kind of creature they may be.
2.) Do you have a favorite demon character? Angel?
I like the demons in Larissa Ione’s Demonic series.
3.) Do you have a favorite series about either angels or demons, or both?

1)I don’t think that I could choose. Well, as long as we’re talking about fallen angels and demons. A regular angel is just a little to good for me(*wink*). The can both have their good and evil sides b/c they both are supposed representation of good vs. evil, but I think when faced w/ something of such opposite force all the time…it just starts to rub off on you. They both have the potential to be good and bad, which is just fun!
2)Demon? Big Al from Kim Harrison Angel? The name is on the tip of my tongue and I’m blanking….AH!
3)I haven’t read many yet, but I have a whole lot more on my list of books to come. Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld series has some awesome demons!

I think I like demons a bit more. I’ve come across them more than angels really. I don’t know if I’ve read any books with angels. So I go with demons by default. The majority of them are bad guys too, although in Stacia Kane’s series not all demons are bad. I like a handful of them, although their names are not at the top of my mind right now. But I’ll go with them as my faves.
That little paragraph pretty much answers all the questions as well!

Have to say it’s demons for me, they always come across as so much more fun in books!
Sandy G, i totally agree about Japhrimel, yummy indeed!
As for favourite series, Jenna Blacks series is one of my faves, aswell as Lilith Saintcrows working for the devil!

Oh wow, that’s definitely a difficult decision but I think I’m leaning towards Angels. My favorite angel series is the Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh. Favorite angel? I can’t even think to choose one but Illium is high on the list, lol (excluding the main characters of course).

1.) Its a tough question I like them both but I need my Angels not to be the angelic God kind. I also like my demons to have human sides or characteristics.
2.) My favorite demon is Maddox for The Darkest Night (G.Showalter)- The way he is written and the passion he has for Ashlyn - really stuck with me. My Favorite angel is Archangel Raphael - from Angel’s Blood and Archangel’s Kiss. He is so bad yet so yummy he makes my toes curl.
3.) The Lords of the Underworld (G. Showalter) and Guild Hunter Series (Nalini Singh). I love these two series and I think they do a great job of capturing the perfect demon and angel.

1. I prefer demons. They get into such trouble.
2. There are so many that it is hard to choose just one.

Hi Everyone!
1) I have no preference, as long as the character has enough redeeming qualities,he could
be a pink turtle and I’d still read on! Seriously though, I’d have to say Demons, only
because they have that element of “Dangerous” that I tend to like in my leading man!
2) To date, no. But I am rather fond of Jim Heron from Covet by JR Ward. Mind you, he’s a
fallen angel.
3) NO favorite series yet, any suggestions?

1) 1.) Do You Prefer To Read About Angels Or Demons As Characters In Paranormal Fiction, And Why?
I Prefer To Read About Demons As Characters In Paranormal Fiction Because I Think It Makes For A More Interesting Story Rather Than Reading A Book Just About Angels. Don’t get Me Wrong I Like Angel Books Too But The Demon Ones Seem To Have More Conflict In Them Which Makes For A Better Outcome If They See The Errors Of Their Ways.
2.) Do You Have A Favorite Demon Character? Angel?
My Favorite Demon Character Is Georgina Kincaid From The Georgina Kincaid Series By Richelle Mead. She Is A Succubus Demon And She Tries To Do The Right Thing Even Though She IS Tecnically Evil.
My Favorite Angel Character Is Carter From The Georgina Kincaid Series By Richelle Mead. Even Though He Is An Angel He Hangs With Demons Which Gives Him This Quality That Makes You Really Like Him.
3.) Do You Have A Favorite Series About Either Angels Or Demons, Or Both?
One Of My Favorite Series Is The Georgina Kincaid Series By Richelle Mead Which Has BOTH Angels And Demons.

I would have answered angels a few months ago, but I’ve now read Larrissa Ione’s first book with Eidolon– geesh. The Lords of the Underworld demon warriors are great too, but I really loved Cade from Dark Desires After Dusk by Kresley Cole. He is one hunky demon. Seriously. So I think Cade is my favorite demon so far, and Immortals After Dark by Kresley Cole is my favorite series.

I do not have a preference about angels or demons in a series. I abolutley love Al (I noticed I am not alone) from the Hollows by Kim Harrison. I also love Greyson in Stacia Kane’s series, although I like him in a totally different way than Al! I also kind of like Eve from Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series but that is because she kicks some a$$! I do not have a particular series that I like the best, instead I like a whole bunch of them!

3.) Demon series: Succubus Blues series by Richelle Mead
Angel series: Guild Hunters series by Nalini Singh

I like both angels and demons but if I had to choose one, I’d choose angels. There’s so many legends and I love reading them all.
My favorite angel character so far is Patch from Hush, Hush
I haven’t read it yet, but I’ve heard Angels’ Blood by Nalini Singh

I guess I like both angels and demons. I’m not sure that I have a favorite of either, I just like to read them all. I guess whoever is trying to right a wrong or protect the underdog is who I root for. I’ve been reading a lot for the last month and a half so I’m at a lost right now as to a favorite series for either.

1.) I actually enjoy reading about both, but mostly about demons and FALLEN angels, cus everyone always portrays angels as good, and that they can’t do anything wrong, so what kind of story is that. Also, everyone portrays the fact that if an angel falls in love, then they fall, so I’d rather stick to the dark side, cus I find them more fun and interesting.
2.) I have a lot of favourite characters, but I think that my favourite would be Georgina Kincaid from the Succubus series. And if she doesn’t count as a demon, then the Warriors/Lords from the Lords f the Underworld series by Gena Showalter, as they all harvest demons within them.
3.) I think that the Georgina Kincaid is my favourite.

1. I haven’t read too many books where the angel or demon are the main character, but either is okay with me as long as the demon main character is a good guy. The few books I have read with either one, I have enjoyed a lot, but no single one stands out as a favorite. Most of the ones I have read, the angel or demon are the main character of one book in a series that the other books have other kinds of paranormals in the lead roles. That is actually my favorite kind of paranormal; the ones that mix several different kinds of paranormals.

1) I haven’t read any angel books yet, so I’ll say demon because they are versatile. Bad and charming or even trying to redeem themselves.
2) Like many, Algaliarept, because he is a charmer (especially in the guise of certain loved ones) and yet very evil.
3)Kim Harrison’s Hollows series, with Al, of course. I haven’t read any of the others mentioned, but I’m sure they are very naughty, too.

2) I can’t remember any angel character that I like the most, but my fav demon character is Cole from Charmed series.
3) I like Kenyon’s Dark-hunter series the most, although they’re not totally about demons.

I don’t have a preference between angels/demons. I think the most interesting angel series is JR Ward’s fallen angel - I’m excited to see where she goes with it. I also liked the demon/djinn character, Tir, from Jory Strong’s spider touched.
