Books in the Halle Pumas series in the order they should be read:
The Wallflower
Sweet Dreams
Cat of a Different Color
Longing for a roaring fire and a good book, Adrian is looking forward to the sweet revenge he can enact on Max for volunteering him to venture into the cold. After watching both his best friends become whipped once they discovered their mates, Adrian definitely isn’t looking for his, which is why he is quite worried at his Puma’s intense reaction to the pack’s yet to be vetted newest member. Sheri Montgomery is legally blind with albinism, comes with Jerry (her guide dog), and is a beautiful snow princess that is driving him, not to mention his Puma, to distraction. Unfortunately, even though his Puma is already screaming that Sheri is his, Sheri is not looking for a mate.
Thank God for dark glasses. Most Pumas’ eyes flash gold when upset or aroused. Sheri’s had been flashing red ever since meeting Dr. Adrian Giordano. Her statement that she isn’t looking for a mate sounded false to her own ears with her Puma reacting so fiercely to Adrian, but technically, what she said was true. She wasn’t looking for a mate; she had already found one. Alas, that discovery is not to be acted on because Rudy would eat the good doctor for breakfast. At her moment of truth before the Pride comes, Sheri can only hope they will decide to help her escape the grasps of her abusive werewolf ex-boyfriend and the Pack with which he is running.
With brief cameos in the former stories in the Halle Pumas series, Adrian and Sheri roar into full focus as the third installment in the series is introduced. Dana Marie Belle’s style of having the characters cut through the melodramatic mess that clogs up many stories and getting right to the chase romantically speaking while leaving room for the true romantic suspense - the fight to stay together - is one that is very refreshing. The fact she always delivers a humorous story with lovely characters is another reason I greatly enjoy this series, even if the stories are always too bloody short. More tidbits on Pride culture are established, and with the Pack introduced in this installment, I can’t wait to learn more of both.

I highly recommend it
Though, due to the nature of the series, I would suggest reading the earlier installments in the series first. They add a lot to this story and you will appreciate the secondary characters more for having already met them
