Dee Carney has once again given the reader a short story filled with steaming hot werewolves and smart sexy witches.

“Craft of the Wise: Divination” is the second in the series, and the reader now finds the stage set for another show down. The former coven witch Dina and her demons once again sets out against her former friends and relatives and the werewolf pack that has joined with them.

Diviner Jenna can see the future and hunky second in command Vince seems to be a part of that future but her sight does not tell her if it bodes well for the coven and pack to be with the hunky were. When she is visited by the witch that is causing all the turmoil, her sight is further clouded by doubt as she seems to want Jenna to follow the path as well. She wants them to come together to find an athame that would give her more power against her former friends.

Vince and Jenna decide they must search for the athame before Dina and her demons find it, but the path to this insight is something Jenna is not prepared for. When they come together in the most intimate of situations while surrounded by their friends, the questions of the immediate future is revealed.

This sexy little romp is a fun and erotic paranormal treat that I could find myself indulging in again and again. “Divination” is the second short in the Craft of the Wise series and this reader will definitely search out the other chapters in the series.
