This tantalizing little novella is an erotic and mischievous contemporary romp with a twist of hot shifter and paranormal magic mixed in.

American Princess and hotel heiress Jada Danforth has everything she ever wanted handed to her on a silver platter - everything but a man. The media has branded her an animal hater ever since she borrowed her step-mom’s fur coat for an event last year and they had gotten wind that lately she had an appetite for rabbit meat. The boyfriend pool has decidedly dried up in the after effects of the media blitz and it’s been too long in between fixes.

Aidan Richards is a self-employed creator of handmade, one-of-a-kind vibrators sold exclusively at Madam Periwinkle’s Erotic Delights store. He decided it best to make a living doing something creative instead of explaining why he needed certain days off each month, and his position with Madam Periwinkle allowed him to do just that. He even made personal repairs on all his products 24 hours a day.

When Jada’s vibrator stops working, she gives the repair line a call. Aidan is amazed when he finds out the caller is the person he thought of while designing the vibrator. The two decide it is an emergency and Aidan needs to make a house call immediately to help her out with the problem. When the two find themselves attracted to each other, the heat builds and the vibrator is not needed as they explore each other. When Aidan relaxes to the point that certain parts of his anatomy begin to go furry, he realizes that things have gone too far. After all, she is an American Princess and in all the tabloids every day; what would happen if they found out she was dating a werewolf?

I thought this was a sexy and erotic tale that gave the reader a glimpse into paranormal while infusing it into the current media-frenzied lives of the rich and famous. The short story showed us that love gives us the ability to overcome preconceived notions of a person and see his or her true self. A quite enjoyable little read.
