Sydney Skeller has dreamed of her perfect lover forever - his dark hair, his perfect body, the scar that adds just the edge of roughness to him and his ability to shift into a werewolf. The only problem is that Sydney is from a family that has hunted the werewolf for generations. For now, he is just a dream, but when Syd and her friend go to a funky medium to get a reading, why does she faint when she pictures her dream man and…howls?

When her vision comes true and she finds herself not only in her man’s arms but half naked as well, she knows that there is something special between them. Jason Cannon feels the pull towards Sydney just as much as she does, but finding out that his dream woman is a hunter is something that he may have some trouble getting past. Jason is not only a total hunk but a wolf shifter down to his bones, but it is his soul that cries “mate” to Sydney. The two find themselves falling for each other, but with Syd’s redneck hunter family, her mom’s secrets, and Jason’s helpful gay best friend, Benjy Bodoir, the two need to come together quick and diffuse the situation before they risk being another tragic Romeo and Juliet story.

Beverly Rae has written a humorous and frisky tale of the ups and downs of falling in love despite your beliefs and your family’s objections. It is a very witty and entertaining tale that is LOL funny!
