This is the story of two famous people brought together by the unforeseen circumstance of being victim and attacker.

Raiden is the lead singer for Japan’s most famous band, Scent. Pretty and hot, everyone loves him, male and female alike. Gabriel is the hottest actor in Japan right now. With his hit show, Mesmerized, the French-Canadian actor is at the top. What he doesn’t have is Raiden. His obsessive compulsion to have Raiden star opposite himself has him chasing him all over the city. Gabriel has written his own screenplay, Luna Sunset, with himself in the lead as a werewolf and with Raiden staring as a vampire battling the rights and wrongs of his existence.

Reluctantly, Raiden gives in to the obsessive phone calls and arranges a meeting with Gabriel. The meeting does not go as planned, and Gabriel finds himself the victim as Raiden is revealed to be a real vampire and reluctantly turns Gabriel into his unexpected meal.

The book takes us through the stages of grief, denial, anger, acceptance and rebirth as Gabriel deals with not only becoming a vampire but the realization that he has feelings for Raiden beyond that. Gabriel uses the movie premise to cover the fact that the two are together every evening as Raiden trains Gabriel in the necessities of life as a vampire. The two become antagonists and begin a fight for control as the student attempts to take over the teacher just as they begin to explore the depth of their feelings for each other.

This short story is the first in a new series for web author Jane Bled. It is a very intellectual endeavor at revealing the emotions and actions of two men and their fight for dominance. The story however lacks an edge to these emotions or a climax that would be expected in a tale in this genre.
