Alyan is an elf that has just lost his job and his lover who was also his boss. Alyan considers himself socially inept and a bit of a dork. Even after being around for a few centuries he still can’t seem to find his way in the human world as an elf.

Damon is the owner and operator of the club, Damon’s. It is a place for others to meet elf, dwarf or available men. He is also a big flirt.

Alyan is at home suffering from a broken heart after being dumped. His sister won’t leave him alone and she takes him to Damon’s for the speed dating night. He just wants to die and disappear. Since he can’t do either, he sits down at a table and waits and waits for someone to sit and talk to him. A man named Thomas finally does and they go back to Alyans place. The problem is that Damon is the man that Alyan wants to be with but doesn’t have the guts to tell him until his sister tells him just do it. Should he set himself up for another broken heart or just let things go as they are?

Damon’s: Speed Dating by Sophie Tithiniel was very hot. It was quite explicit but there was a storyline along with it. You felt Alyans emotions through the book and felt for him when he felt like a dork. He said that, not me! He is the underdog of the story and doesn’t give himself credit for anything about himself. He was the type of character that you hope gets his happy ending.
