Tuesday’s Child - Grace by Mina Carter
Grace Solomon, the former prima ballerina, now finds herself barely able to walk after the terrible car accident left her body broken and permanently damaged. Months and months of rehabilitation and determination have given her a chance to walk again but only with the aid of her caretaker cousin, Fayte, and her walking sticks. When she returns to the theatre to watch the new performers, her dreams are fulfilled when the handsome patron from the box beside her walks into her life.
Jaron Conrad, patron of the arts, handsome man and vampire, knows the problems first hand that can happen when his secret is revealed. Hoping to be a part of the former prima ballerina’s life since the first time he saw her dance, Jaron takes the plunge and introduces himself. Giving her an elixir that would aid in her recovery, he walks a tight rope of trust when he continues to help her regain her life with his miracle cure.
The two find themselves falling for each other, but the past tragedy Jaron had lived when his secret was revealed forces him to face the fact that he must leave his Grace and reinvent himself somewhere else once again…alone. When another betrayer forces them to face the possibility of life apart, they both must trust in what they have built to give them the chance at a lifetime or two together.
This romantic novella was a very entertaining and arousing paranormal treat. I enjoyed the banter the two shared as they discovered each other and allowed their heads to follow their hearts. I do think that there could have been a little more detail about Grace’s return from her injury to add to the continuity of the storyline which seemed to be missing.
