In this sequel to “Urban Wolf”, we are introduced to quite a few new characters. The lead characters from the first book, Major Jon Maynard and journalist Rose Winter, make cameos late in the book. We learn more about what the alien’s plans are for the invasion in book two. The first person we are introduced to is Louis, who is an android working for William and Iris L’Estranges on their land. He is alerted to an intruder and happens upon an unconscious woman in the woods. When Louis awakens the sleeping beauty, he finds that she is a werewolf with amnesia. He decides to hide her away from his alien masters.

Linnet Lewis was a decorated soldier and part of a secret government project to make human-wolf hybrids. Like Major Jon Maynard, Linnet woke up not knowing who she was but driven to hunt down the aliens threatening the planet Earth. She doesn’t know who or what this man who has awaken her is, but she does know that Louis makes every part of her body go tingly. As we learned in “Wolf Hunt 1”, sex seems to reawaken the memories of the human-wolf hybrids. Linnet remembers everything after Louis and her hit the sheets.

The aliens are planning their military phase of their invasion. It is up to Jon Maynard, Rose Winter, the android Louis, and Linnet to stop the invasion from happening. I felt that “Wolf Hunt 2” moved the story along nicely and the sex scenes fit into the story well. I recommend reading “Urban Wolf” first, but “Forest Wolf” is worth your time to check out.
