Nadine is lost in her emotional longing for her fiance, Justin. Her best friend, Simon Kane, has always been there. The bond and attraction to him makes it hard to resist the hunger burning in his eyes. The only thing that prevents her from giving into her desire is the pain of betraying Justin.

Kane is Justin’s best friend, too. The increasing desire for Nadine is suffocating him to the core. He is a sexual voyeur. He invites Nadine to share these experiences with him. These moments are building the sexual tension to higher levels.

There is one thing standing in their way: Nadine’s love for her past. She cannot get past her everlasting love and desire for Justin.

Author Dee Carney’s novella “Letting Go” instantly draws you in, feeling the bond between Nadine and Kane. The power of their hunger awakens your senses. The author is able to make you feel Nadine’s pain, which actually made me cry at one point. The novella offers a compact story of love, sexual hunger, descriptive erotic encounters, and will keep the reader intrigued with each turned page.
