Gentlemen Prefer Succubi by Jill Myles

*****

Jackie Brighton works for a museum. She is not doing exactly what she wants to do there, and her boss hassles her, but at least she is working for a museum. She is not the type of girl to have one night stands and cannot believe when she wakes up and finds out that is precisely what she did. And it was not your every day one night stand - it was with an angel. Yeah, right. But she cannot deny the facts when she starts to change and cannot seem to think about anything but wanting sex. Noah, her angel, informs Jackie that due to a vampire bite and her having sex with him, she is now a succubus. Jackie has a lot to learn about her new world and stumbles quite a few times along the way, but with the help of Noah and, eventually, her vampire master, she will fight the forces of evil - and maybe even have a chance at winning.

Who can resist a succubus? Books about them seem to have a siren call, even to me. Never mind the fact that I had a ton of things to do, this book would not let go of me. I was amused and fascinated throughout the book. Jill Myles has a witty and snarky writing style that simply kept me from putting the book down. Jackie’s journey into becoming a succubus and the world of the supernatural around her was intriguing and at times downright funny. Despite the warnings of her master and mentor, she still managed to get herself into trouble a time or two. It would take the combined skills of her new friends to be able to help pull her out of the messes she caused.

If you are looking for something to brighten up that dark winter day, then this book is for you! It will keep you on the edge of your seat and it will make you laugh out loud - what an enjoyable combination in any book. So add Gentlemen Prefer Succubi to that last minute gift list today.

Book Excerpt: Who Knew An Angel Could Get A Girl In So Much Devilish Trouble?

Jackie Brighton woke up in a Dumpster this morning, and her day has only gotten weirder. Her familiar B-cups have somehow become double Ds, her sex drive is insatiable, and apparently she had her first one-night stand ever…with a fallen angel. All she remembers is gorgeous Noah’s oddly hypnotic blue eyes…and then a dark stranger whose bite transformed her into an immortal siren with a sexy Itch. With help from Noah, Jackie begins to adapt to her new lifestyle — until she accidentally sends Noah into the deadly clutches of the vampire queen and lands herself in a fierce battle for an ancient halo with the queen’s wickedly hot righthand man. Who just happens to be the vampire who originally bit her. How’s a girl supposed to save the world when the enemy’s so hard to resist?

You’ve convinced me to check it out. I love stories that have a succubus/incubus. This one sounds well worth reading.
