In a world where vampires, demons, elves and other paranormals intertwine with the human realm, sensuous beings steam up the pages of this erotic and arousing interlude.

Opening X2, a sister nightclub to her brother’s Station X, Tess has had nothing but trouble and she knows who is to blame. A woman of mixed blood including human and elf, she was betrothed to a Protenese Prince at an early age, but when he disappeared from her life, she believed that was over with until he showed up and began to undermine her attempts at getting the club open.

Seth, the Protenese Elf Prince, was a prisoner of war for a long time and, despite his family’s wishes, he wants to once again lay claim to his betrothed. His methods do not seem to be working, but to be with his mate, he will do whatever it takes.

Victor Zoltan is an organic vampire of a truly pure bloodline. His father’s wishes to expand their line have led him to Tess, his father’s choice of mates for his son. Victor knows that he has his work cut out for him at his first meeting with the lovely Tess, but if she is truly his mate, there is nothing that he will not do to keep her.

When Victor and Tess meet, they find a compulsion forcing Tess to feel the need to be intimate with the sexy vampire. They realize that there is something or someone forcing the two, but they give in and soon find that their emotions have taken over the encounter. When Seth and Victor meet, they both realize that separately they have no chance at winning Tess over but together, truly together as one, they will have the power to sway her into their hands. However, following orders, the demon after Tess has other ideas and, with his cohort, he attempts to take Tess as his own slave. It is up to Tess and an unlikely accomplice to turn the tables on the demon and his plans.

This was a fun little read. It was sexy and steamy as the three characters learned to accept their union and explore the new possibilities of their future together.
