    1. I cannot wait to read this series. Since I haven’t I can’t answer all of the questions, but if I were a vamp stuck in a time period I think I would choose now. It seems like it would be a whole lot easier to blend in when needed and there would always be plenty of people around.

    1) I guess that would depend on what the vamps were like.
    2) The Roaring Twenties.
    3) Haven’t read the books yet, although I have one of them.

    Hi everyone!

Thanks to BBB for hosting the chat. I unfortunately (or fortunately!) am trying to finish Book 3 (BRING ON THE NIGHT, August 2010) in the series to turn in on Monday, so I won’t be able to spend the day with you. I will try to stop by now and then and answer as many questions as I can (if they are short ;-). At the very least, I’ll come back next Tuesday and answer the rest.

Heather: WICKED GAME actually is the first in the series. BAD TO THE BONE is number 2. So you’re good to go! :-)

    Hi Jeri

Write - don’t answer questions. I really enjoyed the first two books and am waiting for the third to come out.

1)I wouldn’t want to work for vampires - I don’t think I’d feel very safe.
2)I guess I’d pick the seventies to be stuck in. At least I liked the music then.
    3) My favorite secondary character is the dog in book two (don’t remember his name)

I have not read any of your books yet but plan to do so now. I would be a vampire stuck in this time. I have done all 2-5. Lisa D.

Yes Jeri - please write! I can’t wait for Bring on the Night!

    1) I’d love Ciara’s job. My dream as a middle school student was to be a DJ. I think hanging out with vampires would be fun - as long as I didn’t have to worry about feeding them!

    2) Although I wasn’t alive then (I’m not THAT old) I’d prefer to be stuck in the 40’s. I LOVE the music from that era.

    3) I think Ciara’s dog is cool. Can’t say too much more without it being a spoiler - but Jeri came up with an interesting idea here.

    Hi Jeri!

Hope the writing is going well! Looking forward to see what happens in the next book!

    1) Don’t think I would be comfortable working at the station and would feel more like Franklin with my cache of sharpened pencils! Think Ciara is a little crazy for working with the vamps, as she is a walking snack!

If I was going to be stuck in a time period it would be the 60’s, as that has some of my favorite music. My favorite secondary characters are Franklin and Jim. Wondering if there will be new vamp DJs introduced in future books to cover other time periods?

    1.)Hi Jeri!
Though I haven’t read this series, I did find you on your blog and participated in blogtoberfest:) Didn’t win but I did get to read the excerpt from Shade, and I REALLY want an arc, lol. I liked the premise & can’t wait for it! Thanks for chatting with us.
–Haven’t read the book but I definitely don’t think I’d wanna work for vampires as a human, unless I was sure I could protect myself cause I was a shifter or something.
–Hmmm…the late early 20th century in NYC seems really cool if I were a rich vampire. I love those Luxe series books!
    – Dont know yet, but these books are definitely on my TBR list!

    2. I think I would love to be in the 60’s (near the end of the decade)….. free love and cool music…. I am a big fan of groups like The Monkees, Herman’s Hermits, Paul REvere and the Raiders…. LOL
    3. SEcondary characters…. Ciara…. LOL OK only to me she is secondary…. :) actually I kinda like Jim…. I love Dexter, Lori is OK and the verdict is still out on REgina.

I haven’t read this series but it sounds good. I think I’ll be waiting for the next book to be released before I start anything.

But I can answer the second question: I would like to be a vampire stuck in the current age. As a female you’re too often restricted, although it’d be great to be in the 18th century (only as the gentry).

    2-6 complete! :) And I believe I rsvp’d too

I haven’t read these books. They do sounding interesting because I have always wondered how Jeri could pull the stuck in a time period / still interesting on a daily basis thing off. I know she successful at it because everyone I know loves the books.

Quite frankly I don’t know what time period I could stand being “stuck” can I have the 2000’s (so a newly turned vamp).

Hi, Jeri! Keep writing. :) I participated in the October contest here.

    1) If the vampires treat me nice and protect me.
    2) One where women have rights, so now, but if I could pick any time, the 1940s and 1980s. I love pinups and pop music. :)
    3) haven’t read these, but I’m interested

    2) The 21st century only - I can’t imagine living without internet, movies and my phone:)
