As the sacrifice to the faeries struggled against her bindings, the thoughts of the fate awaiting her within the faerie realm were a blur. Paige knew her grandmother was not of their world and had come to them years ago via a faerie ring, for herself to be given to the faeries as a sacrifice condensed her fear of the unknown. The ambrosia the priestess made her drink tingled all her senses and made her feel more sensual and desirous of carnal intimacies. Waking in the forest and being claimed by the sexy and large warrior, Paige hoped that she could find her way home before her abilities were found out and she was once again tormented.

Aiden of Fallenrock, while on his way to the castle to take part in the choosing ceremony, finds the naked waif in the forest. Thinking the faeries had sent her to him, and with her body begging for release, the two give in to their lust and desires. Returning to his castle, Aiden finds himself falling further and further in love with the sexy minx, and when the community and his mother accept her as the new oracle, his fate is sealed.

The two indulge in their desires but soon find that in his haste to fulfill the old oracle’s prophecy, they might have angered the gods and changed their fate. Afraid of the future, Paige escapes to the forest but soon finds herself being prepared to be the next meal of the cannibalistic caniba. Aiden finds his woman in time but now is forced to send her to Battlewar castle to await his proper turn at claiming his soul mate. Now it is up to the gods as he is given the unheard of opportunity to chose another or claim the woman who has already claimed his heart.

This latest chapter in the Divinity Warrior series was an emotional and sensual entertainment that gave us insight into another of Ms. Pillow’s strong and brilliant women. The two lovers are both determined to please everyone but themselves as they are torn apart only to find the devotion and love within to bring themselves together as one once again. I truly have enjoyed this series so far and can’t wait to find out what happens to the other women now calling Staria home.
